Personally, I think we need to assail the State and Local government insisting that they cancel school.

Our schools are all still open in my county.

They have finally closed my little town's school, and the library as well. Talked to the librarian yesterday and told her to be sure she took anything she wanted to read home with her.

I have to go to Walmart today. It doesn't make me happy.

Wear a mask. It can help keep people away from you.

I suggest we write the blasted governor and ask him to actually lead and close schools. They are waiting for a disaster that is readily apparent to anyone with 2 spare braincells to rub together.

Mercy has mobile testing sites at Chesterfield, Springfield, Johnson Co. also as someone mentioned above Boone hospital in Columbia. Still need Rx from physicians for it though. Private labs are also doing them, like
Quest diagnostics but I don’t have info on specific locations or other private labs that are doing them.State health dept lab is doing most. Also still prioritizing tests for those with symptoms and identifiable risks/exposure. Check your local info regarding this if needed. No good info on how many tests are processed per day, but it’s increasing - still gonna get bogged down though from what I can tell.

We’re hanging in here so far in central MO, but not off work. Husband works for a pharmacy chain. They’ve decreased operating hours company wide, and his store started putting product out still in shipment boxes. Stuff is going so fast it’s not worth trying to shelve it. I hope to God they go to drive through only. I worry for what desperate people are capable of when it comes down to it. And I get a pretty good birds eye view of the state at my work. It’s been nonstop panicked, angry, anxious .... ill people, and my voice hurts from nonstop trying to calm and provide info as best I can but rumors and hearsay flying around like crazy. Gotta keep cool heads.
