Let's say 2 people immigrate to the US. Their first day in the US they have a child, before either parent is a US Citizen. That child is a US Citizen at birth, but NOT a Natural Born Citizen. The mother then becomes a citizen a year later, and the next day she has another child. That child is a US Citizen, but NOT a Natural Born Citizen (only 1 parent is a US Citizen). The father then becomes a citizen a year later. Now BOTH parents are US Citizens. They have a 3rd child the next day. That child is a US Citizen. That child is ALSO a Natural Born Citizen. Both of the 3rd child's parents were US Citizens at the time of his birth, so he/she is a Natural Born Citizen and is eligible to be POTUS. The two older siblings are NOT eligible to be POTUS.
