Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79433380 May not be the same you all are speaking of Maybe she's not understanding you can't turn around and go out those doors that have gates once you walk in, that's the point, it's not the style of the gate, it's the fact they're not swinging back and forth, and you're only allowed to go in not out!!!! |

All the registers are all together now. Quoting: Keilani They just remodeled our Walmart, and thought it was weird, as it's not that old, and so now they have the gates when you come in, and so you can't go back out unless you go through only one check out area, so creepy. If you try to go back through the gates an alarm goes off, so what say you GLP, whatever could we need to be choraled in one and not go back out. Honestly, I felt pretty trapped. There were 20 people in line, which I didn't expect, and didn't really need the stuff, so that's when I realized, you can no longer just walk out of Walmart, one way in, one way out, creepy. Wait, I thought Walmart demands face masks? Are you saying you are one of those people that are willing to wear a mask to enter a store? If so, you will need to either grow and spine and/or testicles do ever understand reality, otherwise you will just be a farm animal reacting to abuse. |

They began installing them early last year, related to reducing theft, not COVID. If you don't buy something now, the way it's set up, you STILL HAVE TO Stand in line, and it was a long line today, like 20 people, so I cut through everyone, luckily, I didn't see anyone mad, but I changed my mind and didn't want to buy anything. Ours has a large sensor at the top. Approach from the side? Alarm. You Have to approach totally perpendicular (straight on) or it will not let you pass Irish eyes |

One way in and out all year. Even the side entrance to the landscaping stuff was closed and stayed closed. Quoting: bootobin The greeter is usually this huge woman with a distinctly military feel to her. Nice lady but don't try to go in without a mask lol. Another store near here has this huge piece of equipment in the parkng lot loaded with spotlights and cameras. Also has a military feel to it. They relocated a bunch of them too, instead of being on a main road they're off on a side road now. They've been planning this commie takeover for decades. No doubt in my mind Walmarts are intended to be the sole source for plebe's food in the future. Hmm, the huge piece of equipment sounds interesting, wish you had a picture of it. Is it the ladder thing with lights that moves and has a tower on top for observation? What do you mean they're off the main road now, the stores or the weird equipment? |

(OP) User ID: 77232079 United States 11/25/2020 08:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Keilani LOL, yeah, we had that at one of our super centers, so not sure whey they have to build a cattle corral. So if you go in and they are out of the item you came in for (which is often the case at our Super Center), must you go through the checkout line or is there another path? Right, that's exactly what happened to me. I went in to get like two things, saw there were like 20 people in line, and was in no way going to wait that long, so I went to leave, like I normally would. Well, I could not go out the way I came in. There were gates now that didn't swing that way, so I didn't know how to leave. So, I was just testing gates to see if I could leave that way, and an alarm went off, so I had to cut through check-out line, telling everyone I'm leaving. Luckily, they were all cool, but what if they weren't? That really sucks. I did notice our Store started using large women dressed in some sort of uniform to do receipt checks but havnen't yet seen the corrals. Our store has never closed on Thanksgiving until this year. They plan on being closed from 11 PM tonight until 5 AM Friday. That's weird a couple people have mentioned this is first time ever that Walmart was closed on Thanksgiving, I'm not sure for this area. I'll have to check. We did have these rent-a-cops here at the Walmarts until recently, which was really intimidating and totally unnecessary for a mask, didn't buy it, no one was resisting. It's all conditioning. Right now the rent-a-cops are gone at most of the Walmarts, but now the counting employees are back out there, so I'm guessing the rent-a-cop will be there soon. |

So, then you're forced to stand in line for however long just to get out? Totally not cool. so you're saying all the lanes are full of lines all the time? What about the wide lane for all the obese scooter-bound people with 3 shopping carts? You know, the one that sells liquor & cigarettes. That's my whole point, they just remodeled so there is ONE door in with gates (that you can't go out), and then ONE BIG FAT lane, just ONE, that has all the registers in a rectangle, and then just that ONE DOOR out, so no lanes anymore, not any, just the big rectangle. Normally, not buys, but now today big line due to holidays, so I decided not to wait, but then realized I couldn't get out. |

So if you try to go in right after the person before you entered, it'll slam into your nuts or knees first before opening again. Wait, it gets better. They also FORCE you to take a cart over here. A few weeks ago, I only needed a pack of cigs at the vending machine. You have to go to a computer, which churns out a ticket, then you have to go with that ticket to an automatic checkout register, scan it, pay it, then you get a ticket with a bar code which you need to open more exit gates, then head to the vending machine in the hallway passage, scan your ticket, wait for the cigs to drop in the tray ... ridiculous in and of itself. So, about 15 mins before closing time (20pm in this shithole) I walk in quickly (with my mouth mask on) and there's this craven old cunt shop manager screaming at me for not taking a cart outside. I only wanted a pack of cigs, I said. Do you expect me to take a cart for a ticket and a pack of cigs? Now you have to wait in a line to leave the store. Every shopper must show their receipt to the employee- who then actually counts the shit you bought to make sure nothing is unpaid for. Fucking pisses me off as it shows they think we are all thieves. Pisses me off to no end. Also, tried buying 2$ fishing hooks the other day.
