I made chicken tacos to take to my son's house tonight. We had pecan pie, too, but I ate it before I remembered I was supposed to take a pic. I just couldn't resist. tounge

Re: Food with Attitude!
...

That is such a shame. I've bought the 48" TV / Monitor, my dishwasher parts, our oven, floor tiles, wall paint, and ceiling fans, many items new on contactor palets, geez--so many things I can't recall all of them.

Maybe it's picked clean behind the COVID lockdowns and people not working?

Lance your goose patrol was cute.
 Quoting: Louis in Richmond

Maybe. I just did another load. The floor was completely dry. When it drained the wash water, it looked to me like the water was bubbling up form the drain in the floor rather than from under the machine. It was hard to tell before I busted out some of the tile covering the drain.

I'm going to buy some drain opener & try pouring it down the drain in the floor. maybe I should pour some down the drain where the washer hose goes, too?

I figure it's always good to try cheapest thing first!
 Quoting: Paranoiaaaaa

Be careful. That stuff is caustic. Someone told me it ate right through their pipes and caused bigger problems.

I've never used it.
I would try a snake down the drain first and maybe some buckets of real hot water.
 Quoting: Half Past Midnight

Yes specially on PVC pipes and if you are on a septic Tank it kills the bacteria in the septic tank that dissolves solids. I also would try a snake first, if you don't have one maybe a neighbor does?
 Quoting: BBQ BOY™

I have used it before in the tub. We're on city water so no issues there. I tried boiling hot water yesterday & it didn't help.

Our truck has a handicapped tag hanging in it!

The first thing I did when I got mine was park at the door in the handicapped at two stores while on the way home from the DMV.

Food with 'tude.

Gotcha.

I'm dropping a recommendation for a food product here:

[link to groceryeshop.us (secure)]

This stuff is great. I get it at the local Asian grocery store. It does have a bit of spice to it. That spice intensifies as the bottle 'ages' in the fridge.

I really, really like this cut 50/50 with a regular off-the-shelf BBQ sauce for marinating and saucing meats for the grill. It's also really good when you add extra brown sugar to it and use that as a glaze for salmon or other firm-fleshed fish.
