However, all of my life, I never followed the crowd.

One of the things I try my best to teach people is to NEVER trust the media or government regardless of party. In my personal experience the media ALWAYS gets it wrong and the gov always lies. That is not opinion; it's hard lessons experienced first hand.

I have chosen to be in the Control Group for this experiment. I DO think they rushed it because not only business leaders but pols of every party wanted the economy rolling again and those tax receipts in the green.

I probably already had the virus. My wife and I take Ivermectin after each exposure. Of course, that would limit replication (we hope) and still provide some exposure for our immune systems.

Sorry, but I respectfully disagree that we need to take the vax to protect others or to be patriotic.

What if the gov and media really are hiding the real numbers of bad vax reactions? What if there really IS a depopulation agenda? What if awful outcomes like prion disease really take a few years to appear?

Can we not disagree without rancor?

I admit I am relaxing my guard. In fact, I sat down with my wife and daughter at a restaurant tonight for the first time in a year. Are we in a lull between waves or are the vaxes actually working?

In 10 months + one week, we went from discovery of a brand new, never-seen-before, chimeric coronavirus to having vaccines ready to go for public distribution.

TEN months.

Now, I admit I am not a scientist, but I'm not buying what they're selling. One of two things is going on:

1: Those companies had samples of SARS-CoV-2 prior to January, 2020, in which case the entire pandemic scare was fraudulent.
ie: The government lied.

or

2: These companies bypassed every health and safety regulation in the book in an effort to get these vaccines from zero to production in less than one year, and the government allowed them to do so.
ie: The government was negligent.

Either way, I'm not letting *ANY* substance that has been rushed through testing like these vaccines get injected into my body until I have more information on potentially unknown long-term side effects.

I'm not anti-vax. I'm anti-bad science.

Well, while we are are walking with an eye aimed to the sky (in case the darned Chinese rocket decides to fall on our heads), I have a second hand account of the wonders of being fully vaccinated:

I was scheduled to meet a colleague at his farm to decide on what was best for his irrigation project that I will design and build, and he called me in advance to our meeting of today, to cancel, because he was tested positive to the ‘rona (he was feeling really ill but thought it was a simply a strong cold). He was somewhat angered because he told me he got fully vaxxed (two shots of the Sinovac) mostly to protect his old folks that he keeps close contact with, and he just saw them before getting confirmed positive, So he is worried he might have infected his folks.

And this is precisely why I think Bossche is completely right to warn us about the folly of mass vaccination, it will at least, only help sharpening the ability of the virus to keep making people ill.

This morning I signed a job offer for a Safety Manager position with a locally owned utility construction company. Assuming everything works out okay, I'll start Monday morning. It will include the highest salary I've ever had in either my IT or safety careers plus benefits, retirement, and a company vehicle.

I've been interviewing for this position for a month, and I'm still waiting on something to go wrong because it just sounds too good to be true that I'm the one they selected.
