Well, I feel as though there will be a Petito vs Utah due to the way the cops handled the situation, based on the fact that had she been arrested or detained she would still be alive today, the offices interpretation of the law will put them in jail with the other rapists and murderers they caught in the past im sure.

And then ~ there's the slippage where the agent said homi- missing person or whatever. ~ That was before Gabby's search...so I think the connection is to the female couple.

He discovered that one night she killed the couple and she was going to kill him.

He will have plead innocent and walk....and become a tour guide for the tetons.

Dr. Baden on Fox said they already had dental records from a few days ago.

Technically, up until today she was just a missing person. I don't think Risk Management would allow any officers to go out and say they thought a dead body was a particular person if they weren't at least 99% sure. I'm sure policy is to get DNA for 100% confirmation.

Also her stepfather and I think her mother were out there. They may have been asked to identify.

That's a statement they do not want to be wrong on and could place their department in jeopardy.

Granted, there's always a tiny chance it's not her.

Hate to disagree with you; you've added so much to this thread and made good points. But, a tarp is a great thing to have while camping. Some use it for a tent "footprint". You need it to go between the tent and the ground. With their type camper, it would come in handy attached to their van for an awning. Protection from rain, sun, etc. I see your point though. Could also be used for more sinister reasons.

Well then they need additional training for FS... Jesus.. if anyone watched that video and thought that she was the aggressor needs their GD head examined.

Not saying men cannot be abused and the victim. But all you have to do is watch the video and you can clearly see who is in control and who is abusing who.

I have followed this thread since the beginning. My heart truly bleeds for what has happened, but it is not a sex trafficking group or anything like that. Why would they kill her. Makes no sense. Three murders in a couple of days, and they say they are not related ? And those cops. While watching the video, I was very uneasy. Can't quite put my finger on it, but how the hell could they send her off alone.

In my opinion, the murders are related, and my gut tells me Brian killed all of them. I also think that she was dead when Brian returned home.

It will all come out, but those cops ... weird.

Fully agree about the tarp. I never go camping without at least one and usually three or more.

In breaking news tonight, US police have announced that they have found the body of missing woman Gabby Petito. They are still looking for her boyfriend.

Perviously, police were looking for the boyfriend of the woman who disappeared during a trip to the United States.

Police officers in Florida say that they are working with the FBI to locate 23-yr-old Brian Laundrie, who is believed to be someone of interest in the disappearance of his girlfriend, Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito.

Laundrie reportedly returned to Florida only in early September after the couple set out on a hike across the country in a converted pickup truck in July to visit national parks in the western United States.

Police body camera footage revealed that Gabrielle Petito became very emotional as she spoke to officers.

Late last week, Utah police released body camera footage taken on August 12 before Ms. Petito disappeared, showing her crying and an officer speaking with Mr. Laundrie after Ms. Petito disappeared.

The officers decided to separate the couple, hand over the van to Ms. Petito, and transfer Mr. Laundrie to a hotel room for the night.

During her trip, much of her trip was documented on social media accounts, but online content was abruptly cut off and Ms. Petito last had contact with her family in late August.

Mr. Laundrie then returned to Florida in a van and Ms. Petito was reported missing by her family 10 days later, on Saturday, September 11.

This story is developing.

Apparently Youtube volgger came across this while editing footage and contacted the FBI.

there may be more to the story that was told by them that we do not know ......... all info was not on video.

In Grizzly country you don't go camping with just a tarp. The fact that he brought a tarp with him - if he wasn't lying - is sinister.

Unless he buried her lots of animals were snacking on her corpse. Potential of big animals like bears. For 20 days. Birds, foxes, badgers, black bears, grizzly bears, mountain lions, water rats, etc.

I have a problem with there being anything left to identify if she's been dead for weeks.

Perhaps the FBI ran a fast DNA profile or had enough to run dental.

Seems there's now 3 women dead or missing in the same vicinity.

This is what I find so strange. We are all interested in seeing justice done to whoever committed a crime. I will not rule out that Brian /may/ be the guilty party...but I think it is just as likely/possible that a satanic(ie. - does not walk with God, heavy sinner, has no morals, does what they want in life, hedonistic,lustful, etc) individual may have done this. I also believe that satanic/evil people can and do join positions of power where they can use that power to their advantage. Politics, police agencies, etc - because now they are in a position where they can look like a good guy even if they are doing very bad things. It's a method to protect themselves while they commit evil acts.

So what I don't get is why there are so many comments that pop up in here that say things like 'No way it's a sex trafficker/satanist individual or group...but I that Brian guy...he did it.....

Why is there so much push on focusing the blame on Brian before there is any evidence it was him or court proceedings? If he did it then yes, justice should be done - but evil people would absolutely try to frame someone so they could get away with their evil act and not face justice.

As others have mentioned cop(s) in the video:
* Have 666 tattoo in a known gang affiliation location
* Were suggesting the girl should shower over and over (Seriously, what cop would do this? This seems more strange/mental illness then anything Brian or Gabby did in the video)
* Worked hard to make it seem as if the incident was serious enough so that they could suggest/promote that the couple needed to be separated, and in doing so send the young girl off alone in the van. (Don't care if the auto was in her name - in a case like this as a cop I would have either booked them into my facility where there would be cameras/paper trail and it would be a lot harder for a kidnapper to take her) or I would not have separated them at all.

Do police agencies have the ability to get/retain in their inventories tracking devices that can be attached to vehicles? If someone is involved in this that works there or has an accomplice there, it could be theoretically possible that would give the guilty party access to a tracker that could have been used to track Brian and Gabby as they went deeper into the national park before committing their crime.

hyperthetical: true dat about tarp, BUT if u had a body rolled up in a tarp would YOU bring it back to civilization after disposing of a body? Wouldn't u be smart enough to think that DNA could be gathered from it, even if washed in a river? And if he did, he is truly a stoopid brain dead person, which would mean that he possibly was not in right mind (clearly!) - and/or on drugs. Or desperate for cover at night?

Makes no sense. After disposing of body he most probably took bath in river, which would be why he did not seem disheveled to the people that picked him up for a ride after he disposed of her. However, it's possible that he took her TO the location where she was found to be killed (unless he had previously drugged her.)

That said, it would seem a lot of work to drag a body very far in that terrain, and he surely had no sleep, so must have had some speed handy that was keeping him awake - plus the adrenaline from killing your fiance and hiding body and then to turn around and drive to FL. He probably slept for a couple days after getting home to FL. Lots of pre-meditation signs. Why did he fly home for 5 days and removed her belongings? That is very very odd. Was there something they wanted to 'hide' by moving things? Was it a monetary thing that they wished to hide her 'valuables', for greed? Or why would they need to move all of the belongings - to the point of leaving his fiance' alone in another state for 4 days in an expensive hotel they could not afford? MAKES NO SENSE!

This video is the only reason that she was found. Thank god for those people who want back and looked through their footage. She might never have been found and the family would never have answers. Very sad ending but glad they can grieve and put their daughter to rest.

Who is this "Gabby" person and why should I care about her demise? I feel this is a psyop perpetrated by TPTB in order to keep common folks stirred up about a person no one has ever heard of.

Sad she is gone, but since she was never in my sphere of influence, I really don't get the angst over her death. She probably made bad choices due to a lousy childhood. Probably ought to put a little bit of responsibility onto her parents shoulders.
