Forgive your enemies, it messes with their heads. Thoughts create, mind them well. |

Driver who stopped to help when truck carrying 100 lab monkeys crashed in Pennsylvania and put her hand in one of the cages says she now has a cough and pink eye: CDC urges anyone in contact with the macaques to seek medical attention. Quoting: Dangerous Times A truck carrying around 100 monkeys that crashed in Pennsylvania is now sparking fears of infection after a woman who came into contact with the primates began to feel unwell. Michelle Fallon, from Danville near Scranton, was driving directly behind the vehicle when it crashed, throwing animal crates all over the highway and smashing some to pieces. Four of the animals escaped and were seen sitting among the wreckage before they fled. Fallon said she got out to help both the driver and the animals in their cages, initially believing them to be cats. When she approached and put her hand on the cage, she says the monkey hissed at her. The day following the accident, Fallon suddenly developed a cough and pink-eye, which became so bad that she had to visit the emergency room at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Fallon has been told to keep a close eye on her health for the next month in case she develops any infectious disease as a result of being so close to them. In fact Frederick MD as a destination was one of the first I saw discussed here on GLP on Jan 22: Thread: Were the MONKEYS headed to or FROM Frederick, MD ......where they run experiments on SMALL POX ETC. WTF! Where is the media coming up with these destinations of Missouri and Florida? |

They are giving her shots as a "precaution". It didn't touch her. It hissed at her. Honestly, I think it's a set up. I don't buy the photos of monkeys in the wild that are being sold as the ones that got away for awhile before they were supposedly shot. It seems implausible, more like stock footage used for the story. Agree. It is very rare to get rabies without being bitten! And if she didn’t even touch one there’s no way she could have rabies it’s not airborne |

It does seem that way. Who would use a pull behind trailer for this task in icey road conditions? The 18 wheel dump truck, not the usual kind you think of is over on the other side of the road in the opposite direction of travel, but the damage to the trailer looks like it was rear-ended. That makes no sense. But, yeah with the thin skin of the trailer roll up door being open, then all the boxes get out there on the road all upright. None overturned and no sign of the damaged one the lady talks about in pictures, anyway. Just all of them in pristine sealed condition after their being allegedly strewn after an accident. It doesn't add up unless all you want is a plausible story line. Good observation if true. This is all ... monkey business |

So this is how they release the next killer bug. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 51998504 Is there any CCTV footage of the crash? I would like to see if its staged. So the Monkeys are fresh in from South Africa, they have not completed the statutory 31 day quarantine so they could have potentially harboured disease. Monkeys in laboratories in the US have in the past been found to carry tuberculosis, Chagas disease, cholera, and MRSA. The truck driver was charged as he collided with the dump truck. All monkeys were found and had to be humanely euthanized. The CDC contacted everyone in contact because the quarantine period had not been meet. |

Danville PA seems a bit odd if arriving at JFK and going to Frederick MD, but it's not "crazy" - they would just be avoiding Philadelphia. It certainly makes a lot more sense than arriving at JFK and trucking them to Florida OR Missouri. https://imgur.com/Bem3NPJ |

Supposedly the monkeys were not sick before, and were on their way to do their jobs when the accident happened…..but if this other driver is sick, that tells me that the monkeys were probably already being tested on for some awesome man killing disease that starts off like the movie outbreak lol.
