[link to www.cnbc.com (secure)] I drive by several McD locations on the way to work and they always have lots of cars coiled around the buildings. I think all fast food (and non-fast food) have raised prices significantly. We don't eat out a lot, but the restaurant we usually go to was pretty empty the last few times. I saw a Burger King went out of business near my office and the word was that they couldn't get staffing. Maybe McD is too top heavy. Could be not so many people want to work for what they're paying...unless you are top management. Maybe they'll take the haircut off the top. |
