You might suggest to your parents to allow you to attend cognitive-behavioral therapy sessions in lieu of medication.

Why is that Dr. SHR? I seen these people put quarters in their mouth and swallow then regurgitate them back up with no problem.

My mom and dad are psychologist so they swear by that shit!

Call your doctor and try to get him to prescribe something else for you to take that does not affect you so adversely.

Get the doctor to talk to your parents about switching medications so they will be on board with it.

If the capsule breaks, before you can puke it, it can destroy your esophagus.

He is in on it too. Hes order them to not let me not take it.

He's a major pill pusher and my family is his groupie. He has my gma on so much shit, I could throw a farm party.

Pretend to give in and take it every day for a week. Then when they give up checking, stop taking it. It may mean going through withdrawals again, but it would be worth it to not be abusing your body with that drug.

And try to drop all moodyness and negative emotions. Pretend your acting a part. You have to let them believe that it's working.

There is no evidence the drugs like prozac help teenagers with mental health problems. But there is evidence that these drugs contribute to suicide and rage explosions that lead to the deaths of others.

If your depression is really severe and the mood swings occur on a regular basis, I can understand they're worried...

sorry, saw the q has been placed before. You look like you're in your early 20s. Well, I'd start by putting some research in front of them showing the dangers of prozac...haven't there been some violent outbursts by peeps blamed on prozac et al. mood changing chemicals?

If that doesn't work, look for an identical looking sugar pill that you can switch the whole batch with when they're not looking.

Yeah, I've tried to commit. That was when I was all on drugs and messed up.
I'm happy now! I've been saved, I don't need a pill. They don't seem to understand that. I know they are worried but putting me on a pill isn't going to solve anything.

Learn sleight of hand. It basically involves distraction and misdirection.

Also, it is typical of depression sufferers to think they're better after they've been on medication for awhile. They keep doing it without realizing it's a cycle.

Sorry to hear this. But in my experiance the best thing to do is to prove that your better with out it. Be as open about your emotions as possible. Hopefully they will understand.
