Here's a YouTube of Obama mocking the bible and claiming to be the Messiah. Obama also claims to be a Christian, yet wears a wedding band that says "There is no god but Allah"... NO Christian believes this Muslim first pillar rule. No Christian believes in Muslim beliefs.... Last Edited by abeliever on 03/20/2017 09:11 AM |

Quoting: mosiu 74515557 Come in my name that mean they are Christians. And will say that Jesus is Messiah (it was spoken by Jesus so I = Jesus) So you freely admit that you deny Jesus Christ? So now we know who you worship. I shall pray for your soul. |

Even Bart Ehrman (one of the top NT scholars) who is Atheist agrees that Jesus claimed to be the messiah... The only real debate is about Jesus claiming to be God. Different authors will make different claims about the divinity of Jesus and when it started, they would make different claims about who Jesus said he was, but they all agree on a few things (very few)... They all agree that Jesus was the son of God and they all agree that he is the Messiah. That being said, the type of Messiah they expected was very different than what they got... We also have to remember that we have no idea who wrote any of the gospels, but the consensus among critical scholars is that none of the gospel authors ever met Jesus in their life. Not even Paul met Jesus while he was alive. |

Yes that is the claim, but not exactly as you stated, it was not verified by Peter or the disciples as Peter and the disciples never wrote anything that is in the NT. Paul's vision is problematic for many reasons (contradictions that make it hard to know what he really saw) but Paul is as authentic as it gets in the NT. I can see many reasons why people might believe Paul. If you read my last posts carefully, you will see that i said that none of the authors of the NT met Jesus while he was alive... |

You do get to choose your side. I chose the Bright Side where my God fights for me. Others chose the Dark Side and fight for an entity that views them with disdain and discards them. |
