People who invoke "our democracy" really mean "their power." We are not now, nor have we ever been, a democracy. That's deliberate Communist word shifting. We are a constitutional republic. |

Get a long screwdriver or dowel and place it on different accessories and press your ear against it. You should be able to locate the noise. yes and it's probably the power steering pump and more than likely replacing it will make the same noise and waste your time and money |

The tapping sound continues for a little while even after I shut the car down. Sounds like I have a midget (little person) tapping something under the hood. Other than my midget theory, what the heck is causing it? |

The college guys know their shit, but they don’t know how to make money. It really ruffles their feathers when the high school dropout in the next bay is pulling in six figs when they can barely make $50k/yr. |

User ID: 74619032 United States 12/08/2019 04:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a truck and the tire pressure sensor light - on the dashboard - never goes off. No mechanic has ever been able to get it to go off any longer than a few days. Quoting: ~Sloane~ Thanks for consideration! My work Escape has the same problem. At one point there were 35 cars in the companies stock, my Escape was the only one they couldn't fix the tire sensor on. They told me it was a most inhospitable sensor to get to....although they said a cuss word about it, harhar. ....actually, that they had all the others fixed took an act of God. I get the feeling sensors are one of a mechanics worst nightmare...and I'm quite sure they have more than one. You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. -Buckminster Fuller ...I adapt to the unknown, under wandering stars I've grown, by myself, but not alone... No mechanic has ever been able to get it to go off any longer than a few days. Quoting: ~Sloane~ Thanks for consideration! There should be codes in the TPMS system. Usually a tire light that is on is due to a sensor going bad. The batteries in them will last 5-10 years. Sometimes the sensor will fall off the valve stem and rattle around in the tire. |
