Gov Edwards increased our lockdown to April 30th. Why do I feel it's about to get much stricter? It needs to be, but dang- it should not be, why can't people follow the rules and act right??

Filed for unemployment, I run a small business- a cleaning service. NO one wants me in their home. I went from making 3700 a month to zero overnight.

Unemployment is showing me as not capable of receiving funds, and my case is "under review". It's impossible to get anyone on the phone- so I may just go completely under before it gets approved.

Hope you are able to get some resolution with the unemployment. My son is in a similar predicament. He had changed jobs just a couple of months ago and they are telling him he had not worked long enough with the company to qualify. He is trying to continue to work through the process but it is frustrating.

Well it looks like other states are closing us off. My Mom just said TX is closing off to us. I’m going to look for links when I get home

She said he went to MS to get tested bc he could not get tested here and it only took a few days to get his results. Now this has been 2 wks since and he’s still very sick. They pumped fluids in him and did X-ray and sent him home from what I was told.

Her neighbor has been waiting over NINE days for her test results.

The young woman who died in St Tammany went in sick and they would not test her bc she didn’t meet CDC guidelines. Sent her home. She went back worst..tested her..admitted her and she went on a vent and died. She was positive...no underlying health issues and 36. Leaves behind young children.

Im so sorry to rant but this is absolute bullshit. They should do what needs to be done NOW. No point in prolonging the inevitable. The economy is screwed it’s not going to get better like this.

It's crazy that they had to go to MS to get tested. That's seriously wrong. What area are you in? I agree- lives are being lost b/c we are NOT testing. Nor taking it seriously outside of NOLA.

I wonder if we could write a senator or congressman about how they are not testing adequately in BR, ST Tammany and surrounding areas, and that people are dying b/c of this. Maybe that would get us the help we need. Can we write the Governor?

Writing the governor would be a good place to start. Also ask why they are taking so long to get results.

An article was just posted about how long it was taking in Louisiana. I think I posted here too. They have got to know. I’m guessing if they don’t have enough test then they go by stricter guidelines to try to save them for the ones who are already in bad shape but I know I read that they could do a CT Scan and just about diagnose from that.

I’m not trying to demonize anyone in healthcare bc they are doing their best and doing what they are told but it seems someone could do something.

I said last week that we had a problem with testing at least in the Baton Rouge area. Sounds like the problems still have not been resolved.

So sad about the young woman in St. Tammany.

I called my congressman and both of our senators last week about this issue. Garret Graves's office is the only one that acted like they cared at all. Cassidy's office response was terrible and Kennedy's was not much better. I also called the Governor's office but had to leave a voicemail with them.

'Second wave' of COVID-19 in US

Morgan Stanley's recent COVID-19 forecast released Monday said that the largest risk to the US is "a second wave of infections emanating from the central region of the country after the coasts have peaked in mid-April."

This wave, the report continues, could delay the US "peak" and cause recontamination of the coastal cities even after they see cases decline.

Are our rights gone? Don’t know the guy, BUT, there is way more than 50 people in my grocery store at any given time. Does somehow magically the “virus “ not infect people going to grocery stores? What about Lowe’s, Home Depot? Does it magically not infect the restaurant workers doing curbside pickup? This whole crap show is a sham. Corona virus is a cold/flu. Covid 19 is an offshoot , another strain . The joke is on you, me and every other person on earth that are abiding by the communist rule being imposed by the fear propaganda. It “appears” that everyone who dies now , dies from the corona virus! No other deaths even count now.
This whole thing is a coordinated psy-op on everyone. Does this certain virus exist? Yes. By all accounts it does. There is a patent for it. Most likely a vaccine for it aswell. That is where they will really get you, take the vaccine or no work, no ability to buy or sell, etc. sound familiar?
Good on that preacher for giving a big thumbs down to our Communist Satanic Governor JBE. Oh, I know people will say but, but, but so and so died. People die everyday from getting sick , heart attacks, pneumonia cancer, etc. Young, middle aged, old , doesn’t matter , We ALL die at some point. Are you going to live in fear? I just want add, it’s not that I don’t believe there is a contagion or pathogen being used against us. There are different levels to this situation. Event 201 was them telling you what was coming. Revealing the evil before you are delt a version of it. Agenda 21, Deagel report, all of this has been out for years. Gleen what you can and understand the way things are enacted. Stand outside the box and look at the whole picture. We are living in biblical times. God Bless you all. No matter political affiliation or not. I had a dream a couple weeks ago and it wasn’t even a dream. I was somewhat awake. I was told remember who you are. Vision of myself encased in armor with wings and of huge stature. The armor had markings that I described to my wife and child. I’m not a hyroglyphic person but scribbled out what I remembered. Daughter researched it and it was “Warrior /protector” and some other things. Don’t know exactly what it all means, but I’m following God’s word.

So much information is here about other states. I'm so freaking glad you ladies are taking this seriously. I hope one of you have a fb or a twitter account and preach it to everyone. I understand save yourself first, but some people have no sense at all and can harm others, unwittingly.

My first suggestion is take your shoes off at the door. Wash your hands immediately after you touch them.

Just got an email from the boss saying that someone at my place of employment has had contact with someone who tested positive, and that we have had possible contact. The email is so very vaguely worded, like they don't want us to panic.

Employers aren't doing a very good job of communicating this type of information. I guess they just don't know how to handle it. I'm sorry you are having to go through it. We had a positive case at my work last week. Some coworkers who had close contact with that person were not given any guidelines as to what to do. No contact tracing or testing is being done at all as far as I can tell.

Not sure if it's been said or not but the mayor of Patterson issued a dusk to dawn curfew from 8am-6pm.. all residents must been indoors and "NOT OUTSIDE" by 6pm or face $500 fine. Patterson is a part of my tri-city area and I'm sure it won't be long before this is in effect everywhere.
