I loved my wife and daughters more than life. I am now old and lonely living in a flat (sheltered housing) just after they left got cancer and fibromyalgia so couldnt work. Not looking for sympathy I took my eye off the ball. "We each have the key to our own freedom", "it's in the way we act and think"! Dr Courtney Brown - Farsight |

I think you really dont understand what that means .... lol Let’s be realistic, your paying for the girls. Yep, we pay for the beer, Bar drinks, BBQ, and they play with us, and we all have a great time. Then go our separates way the morning after until next time. Nice to here the Migtow perspective here for a change instead of the Cuck "muh weemins" responses 24/7. They tried in this thread but got denied. |

Dedication and honor..have long-term benefits, versus the short term gains of temptation. All those games have been cornered..by cons. If you have a partner you can trust..hold on to them. Anonymous Coward User ID: 78310900 United States 06/30/2020 12:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was married to my college sweetheart for 30 years before our divorce. It was tough. It's been a couple of years now and I was angry for the first 6 months, sad for the next year, and now I'm just kind of numb about it - just feel philosophically that it's one of those shit experiences that goes with life that you can't do anything about. Nobody promised life was going to be easy, you know? It's really going to depend on the person and the situation as to how you handle it. It's obviously going to be worse on the person who gets the shaft in the deal. How does a person start over when they are no longer a spring chicken? Well, it is what it is and you learn from the experience and get on down the road. One thing I did learn, though, is that if a spouse dies, people are there to pat you on the back and say they are sorry and that everything will be alright. When you divorce after a long-term marriage, people don't know what to say, so they don't say anything. You know they are thinking, why do it after so many years? No pat on the back - just pretty much the attitude that it's just a divorce and get over it. That might be OK when you've only been married 4-5 years, but when it was decades it truly is like a death. It's the death of your family, it's the death of the future you planned, it might be the death of your financial security, It might mean a home and job change, needing to make new friends because your old married friends don't want to hang with a single any longer, your kids have difficulty processing it and so that impacts your relationship with them. It's a big change. |

I got divorced after 14 years, it was an extremely hard decision to make but even now, no sex for 11 years, I'm still glad I did it. I'm not paying for her fuckups any more, I don't have ongoing problems in my life from her fuckups will bills, credit cards, etc. I'm glad I did it at 14 years and wish I'd done it at 6 or 7 years because I knew inside it was wrong even then. |

Ex wife joined a church called Philadelphia Church of God. Right away she starts telling me I have to give them 10% of my gross. I laughed. It went on a few months, then her leaders told her to divorce me. OK. She signed full legal and physical custody over to me for the 2 minor children. It cost me 100,000$. If you are a white man and have a job and a work ethic you will get reamed. A good lawyer is OK but the system has "SYSTEMIC RACISM" against white males. I even had to pay alimony wile taking care of the children. Men beware, the system we built and pay for has become parasitic to us. Have a pre nup if you get married. Keep accounts separate, pay for your own house, have the wife pay utilities for her rent. Cover your ass. |
