All of them that discuss mitochondrial involvement.....

I got to the April 2020.... but I assumed tumors. So I was wrong. Then we had the case studies plus anecdotal evidence of some folks tumors just going away upon infection....

Thanks, need to do a deeper dive which with biochem is tedious for me. I'm somewhat of the opinion that there is a lot of jumping to conclusions in the reporting around these issue's that the actual papers tend to avoid. Hard for me to judge the merits of said conclusions though.

That is laughable. Yes, if the WHO hadn't had their collective head up CCP's butt maybe things could have been less worse.

But, my cynicism believes that with the combined corruption/arrogance/stupidity in the political, scientific, media realms it couldn't have gone any other way.

So, the CDC's updated "How Coronavirus Spreads" is probably not fully up to date in dealing with these variants?

Are they only addressing the prior C19 me wonders. As they quite often seem a day late and a dollar short in informing the public accurately.

How COVID-19 Spreads (They get our tax $$ so here's the one page blurb they have)

COVID-19 spreads when an infected person breathes out droplets and very small particles that contain the virus. These droplets and particles can be breathed in by other people or land on their eyes, noses, or mouth. In some circumstances, they may contaminate surfaces they touch. People who are closer than 6 feet from the infected person are most likely to get infected.

Types of Spread

COVID-19 is spread in three main ways

The covid test centre's in my region (Northern England)are still very quiet at the moment.

We are expecting increased numbers from next week.

Third UK wave could occur in late summer if reopening continues, scientists warn

Modelling by Imperial College's COVID-19 Response Team also found there could be a "small wave" of hospital admissions and about 9,000 additional deaths by June 2022 if steps three and four of the roadmap continue as planned.

They said the timing and size of a third wave will depend on the levels of transmission between 17 May, when step three happens, and 21 June, when step four is set to take place.

But, if variants of concern emerge that are comparable to the Kent variant, a third wave could be "substantially larger" - both in hospital admissions and deaths - than the spike in the winter of 2021, the researchers said.

"Given the high vaccine uptake observed so far, most deaths are predicted to occur in vaccinated individuals, because of imperfect vaccine efficacy," the report said.

Why is it saying more vaccinated people are going to die in a third wave? why get the vaccine then

They assume not as many will die as the vaccine will work in most cases???

Vaccinations aren't 100% effective, some will still get sick. If the vaccine prevents 19/20 possible deaths from infection (95% reduction) and you have 90% of the population vaccinated with exposure rates equal between vaccinated and unvaccinated you would see about 1/3 deaths being in the fully vaccinated group. In the same situation without any vaccination you would see a more then 7 fold increase; if we assume 3 died in the prior example it would now be 22 in total.

These numbers are assuming a lot and simplified but I hope it explains the basics.
