But 2023 is the year I am being forced to shape up my attitude. I was told that the little puck could explode and depending on the rotation it could come up and through. I looked at the bell housing and wondered how that could even happen under these unique set of circumstances. My burn out was good. Really good. When I staged and the tree came into play, I went up and started popping off the two step [know what I mean?]. My foot slipped off the clutch and I red lighted. Because of the shock to the puck and flywheel, the puck exploded. I have it in a shadow box one of my girl friends made for me in the shop. It nicked the side of my shoe and went up into the switch panels. I love the R8. Cheers Right back atcha! |

Quoting: Obi Won Yes it's a 2008, but I waited 5 years for delivery. I got it from Holbert's Porsche / Audi in PA. I paid $135,000 but a famous football player offered me 4 times the price. I declined. It's one of my favorite toys. Pic is my avatar. 1992 Dodge Stealth, twin turbo, 45,000 miles. It's my retirement car, my daily driver. WTF do YOU DO? so, you didn't work the actual construction. got it. project managers handle the onsite management and lawyersnhandle the contracts, so you did some sales at some point... OK, just to amuse you... I'd been carrying a hammer since the age of 6. My parents used to get me out of the riff-raff of the city to my grandparent's lot in the suburbs during summer break. My grandfather was a mechanical engineer and yes, starting at the ripe old age of 6 I started slinging a hammer helping him build his new house. Pops taught me everything I know. After high school I was a solo GC (with a helper or two) until my career in the Navy. After that I built and renovated hotels and multi-million dollar houses in south Florida for a few decades. I had 88 guys working for me at one point until the 06-08 crash, then it was just me and a skeleton crew. So yes. I worked right along side my guys and have the hands and Popeye's forearms to prove it. lol |

We are like flies crawling across the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel: We cannot see what angels and gods lie underneath the threshold of our perceptions. We do not live in reality; we live in our paradigms, our habituated perceptions, our illusions; the illusions we share through culture we call reality, but the true historical reality of our condition is invisible to us.” |
