Anonymous Coward User ID: 15993374 India 07/13/2017 08:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I traveled most of american and mexican wilderness on foot.I had one of the scariest experience in idaho. While i camped at night, our tent was bombarded by stones.I have heard of bigfoot and was prepared.I just ran away from tent and kept myself hidden. In clear moonlight,i saw male sasquatch making love to female sasquatch. To say i was stunned was understatement. The loud grunts ,cries ran for hours. As i dozed, someone woke me up and said"they do enjoy sex, ain't it?". I saw a pioneer era man wearing period cloths and lichen n moss growing over it.I was going to respond, when he just faded in mist. I sat in crouched position for hours, when something pinched my feet.So i saw, these were human bones.I observed my location n found out i was sitting on indian burial mound. In fact,i was sitting on buried skeleton of indian brave with lots of arrowheads lying around.I thought it was eerie feeling due to blackfoot love making and ghost of ancient white man.But the burial mound gave me creeps. So i decided to move when i was confronted by native indian in full warrior dress and a horse.I was going to say something when he just kicked me in chest and vanished. I ran like gazelle and took.shelter under tree when all the jungle reverberated with cries of women being killed.I thought of serial killers and such.I learnt later:foxes, peacocks, coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats make noise like women. By that time,i was exhausted and just slept when i was awoken by strange growl.I opened my eyes and all hairs on my neck stood up.I saw a wolf like creature walking on 2 feet.It just vanished in seconds.Later i came to know it was called jersey devil.what it was doing i n idaho was a mystery. |

As the Jersey devil vanished,i observed flashes of light in woods so i followed them.they were making circular motion and i heard noise of 10000 electric motors. There was crackling noise and crash.i ran into opening in woods and saw the alien spaceship.it was nothing like depicted in movies.no discs.it was perfectly aerodynamic with landing gears.you can compare it to harrier jets.i was waiting for aliens to come out when opening in top opened and black brown smoke like material oozed out.after reaching ground,it made itself into shape of human woman with cloths.it also had some whistle like thing.it blew the whistle and i fainted. I woke up in morning and found tracks of alien spaceship. Then i retraced my steps back to indian mound and grave of some white man.i went back to my tent ,refreshed and went to search site of sasquatch sex place.these brutes levelled almost 10 trees around them. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2736339 don't leave us hanging! describe in essence what it could have been? Bigfoot-like? Demon? Shadow person? Or other? I've never told anyone what I saw. I hinted to my (at the time) wife but she thought I was joking and I left it at that. I was fishing along the PM on a weekday morning, probably early June. The water was a bit high and cloudy because of previous rain, but I had already taken a day off and decided to try anyways. Hadn't seen another person that morning, probably due to poor conditions. Daydreaming and I heard something across the river and about 100 feet upstream from me. See two guys making their way through the brush. Unusual because the trail is only on my side of the river at this point and the brush is thick and nasty. Odd to walk over there. Whatever. I'm facing more or less downstream watching my fly drift. I suddenly get that feeling of being watched. I look up and am startled to see both these guys standing right across the river from me up on the bank. Now, I'm five feet out in the river (waders) and the river is no more than 25 feet wide so they're 20 feet or less from me. My instant thought was, how in the world did they move that fast in that thick stuff, and how did I not hear them. A bit startled, I muster a "good morning gents" but they don't say a word. Just stare. I am not one to cower so I make eye contact and spit out "can I help you?". They totally ignore me but keep staring at me, now I see real malice on their faces. Then one turns to the other and says something like "we can't take him". I go on high alert. I have a CPL and carry a .380 Super under my fishing vest. They both look at me again, and suddenly I realize this isn't two guys I'm looking at. It's something evil, yet very real. The sensation is impossible to describe. So much more than a fear of just death. They suddenly "melt" together into one much larger being, still human in form, and almost simultaneously there's a buzzing in the air and I'm basically paralyzed. What I can only describe as a wrinkle in the air opens and they are "sucked" in. Think of heat waves on blacktop. Some sort of distortion. I knew that only my faith saved me that day, I think they were hunting quite literally for souls. I don't care if you believe me, go hike along Sanborn creek, or the Baldwin river, or the PM on some quiet day. By yourself. Don't bother taking a gun, you'll be too scared to use it if you're unlucky enough to see what I did. [/quote Wow! This is a truly amazing one! I do believe you. User ID: 25676341 United States 09/26/2017 01:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I was a kid, we would visit the Sierra mountains in California not far from where I grew up. In about 1975 I was hiking just ahead of my parents. I saw something big moving just off the trail. Thinking it was a bear, I turned around and followed the narrow trail back towards my parents. But they weren't there. We were at a very narrow part of the trail so there's no way I could have passed them. I stood there a moment, having walked back towards where they should have been. Then I looked back up the trail and there they were, walking towards me. In other words, coming from where I saw movement off the trail, and heading back towards the camping area. They didn't act as if anything odd had happened. I'm sure now I just was confused. It was probably them not off the trail, but on it, and around a corner or something. There must have been a place where the trail branched off and circled around. But at the time I was 10, so it really freaked me out. LOL |

Walking hikes, not really the rough and tough kind. Bringing my camera (always), I pulled the car over in an historic wooded part of Rhode Island. It was late Spring and trees were filled with flowers. Dogwoods are my favorite this time of year. Anyway, as I walked I started to just feel strange. It was early morning. And..I got lost. I was completely lost. Taking video with my camera, I thought I'd head toward water, a river. So I did. There were old gravestones, very old. Some names worn off. Some were mausoleums buried in small hills. When I was near the river, suddenly a gust of wind stirred up. It was some kind of odd microburst. It made birds squeal out. Leaves rustled, the sun flickered through the leaves, beams shooting down into my camera lens as I took video. I heard a loud CRACK from a tree falling or something. I didn't know. As I walked past another small buried vault, doors old, an image was above the burial door. A winged sphere. Around the bend I found the source of the loud CRACK. A huge living branch had fallen on a grave. The grave stone read: BRANCH. I thought how funny it was to have a living branch fall to its death on a dead Branch. This made me think of my Dad. He was a wordsmith of sorts, and enjoyed wordplay. Jibs. And Jabs. But I thought of him. To get why this is weird--that I found my way out. I had to walk through a huge cemetery among the dead to find the grand opening to the "newer" burial areas. I walked right over my Dad's grave. How did I walk over my Dad's grave? My father died at the exact time I was in the. woods, among hilled doors to the dead, where a branch fell on a Branch, where the wind whirled in a vortex. And the river? Across the river is where, in Rhode Island, my Dad grew up. It was not until he passed that ANYONE knew he had made arrangements to be buried in that exact same cemetery. Everyone thought he'd be with his Mother, buried there. He didn't want to be buried there. He secretly wanted to be buried in the exact place I was wandering around thinking of him on the day he died. This is 100% true. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 33773224 United States 11/29/2017 06:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I got a special wilderness permit to go into an area in the mountains in CA where they hadn't allowed foot traffic in, in twenty years. There were no trails. It was myself and two other Marines and we did it in exchange for seeing if there was a rare kind of trout in the streams up there. I guess the forest service didn't have anyone who wanted to do it. I'm not sure I was set up with this by a friend. Anyway we hiked for two days with no trails using just a map and compass and on the second day we walked around this huge cliff to find a full on cabin with a lawn and solar power and washer and dryer the whole nine yards all built into the rock face of the cliff. You couldn't see it from above so it had gone unoticed for years. We talked to the guy that lived there and he said we were the first people he had seen hike in, in 14 years. He was a retired helicopter pilot and he had flown all the equipment in by helo. He was squatting on federal land and knew it but didn't seem worried. He said he hikes out every two weeks for supplies by a different route then we came in and he showed it to us. We used that route to get back as he had a trail beaten down so the walking was easier. All in all it was pretty cool. The trout the forest service was looking for were in the creeks so it is still closed to foot travel and we never told the forest service about the old helicopter pilot so I would bet he is still out there. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7683330 It was a long time ago, and it was the scariest night I've had in the woods. Up in Maine on Great East Lake, at a friends cabin. We had driven ourselves to a party that night about 10 miles outside the small town, really in the sticks. It was pitch black excpet our headlights. The road to the main road was only narrow enough for 1 car, cut through the forest. We were heading there, drinking beers, when I had to piss. My bud stopped the car, I got out and went to the back of the car to pee. I was mid stream when i sensed something there. I heard a "snap" and loud thud and heard a terrible scream like a wolf but deeper. I slipped on a twig and fell, and looking up, saw a 9 foot animal approach the front of the car! It smelled like swamp and piss, and my buddy beeped the horn for a long time. The thing hit the car, growled and ran off. I got up, realize i had shit myself, and my buddy was gripping the wheel staring straight ahead mumbling..no fucking way...no fucking way...over and over...we got to the party and told no one. Never go to the woods What you saw was a "Dogman". Look up "Dogman Encounters" on youtube for many eye witness interviews. |
