I do not remove posts other than a very few vulgar types. We need tobacco posts. Care to try it again, Lance? You are greatly appreciated. The last few pages I posted what i know and do. I grew my own a few years ago, the bugs enjoyed it. There is also a plentiful weed in my area zone 10 So Cal that was used as tobacco. I have identified several other weeds in my yard that are medical or supper foods. Like prickly Lettice dried crumbled and smoked thru its stem for pain relief. My primary injector is the powermatic 3 highly recommended, the a few powermatics 2 in reserve then a few table top injectors, then the rizla roll box and finally small hand rollers and a lot of tops papers and some filter inserts I dont really need them. I started rolling RYO decades ago in the reverse order above! After all this I go with the GOOD STUFF silver and Vera Cruz tubes when I can get them! sometimes with menthol tubes, I also like menthol so I use Good stuff light green menthol. For a prep or barter I mostly buy the regular silver Tabaco and regular king tubes. A few friends RYO and shop in my storage room so it rotate every 3-4 months. I kept 15 LBs on hand but now doubled that! after recent events and shortages, inflation and now shipping issues, They would not ship my last order to CA 7/1/21 I checked a few others online none will ship here! Even unflavored! Stuck here for now retirement's and such! We have a bug out plan and means if needed! |

Only info we got then was car AM radio and my police scanner that is on now and some concerning broadcast LAPD just went on a tactical alert. waiting for more info on why and what divisions! As of now it is all! It means like Battle stations. Something going on when it does they go to encrypted for command and control. Public only gets to hear the dispatch calls. |

We need tobacco posts. Care to try it again, Lance? You are greatly appreciated. It wasn't you who removed it I don't think...it was GuLP itself since I'm certain I cross posted, c'est la vie! I can't even upgrade myself and nor can anyone else. So tobacco. I'll put one together. But right now....find a source of seeds that sells them and order them. They store forever, are very tiny (hence the store forever, hardly any 'meat' to them) and only need to be cool and dry and out of the light. SO decide which type of tobacco you want and definitely if you live in a Zone 7 or lower get a pack of these WT183 Tree Tobacco ( Nicotiana glauca ) I grew a few indoors/outdoors and they lasted years. Here is a sampling from a really nice seed company, order their catalog, as well as the JLHudson seed catalog, good reading. [link to www.seedman.com (secure)] ANd get this [link to www.jlhudsonseeds.net (secure)] Although last I looked they were a US source (not sure if our seed companies ship south anymore sine the US POst irradiates anything coming in without special paperwork) of some rarer tobaccos. You need botanical latin though...lol I cheat. [link to www.jlhudsonseeds.net (secure)] Scroll down to 'nicotiana' to find tobacco. Prolly because a lot of people have run out of 'free money' and you can't really survive as a single person in BC on $560.00 a month (regular welfare) It looks like we are moving towards a Venezuela style 'shops are full, pockets are empty' type of environment. Thank you to those who have pinned this thread, which can be and probably is life-saving to some. Quoting: Pooka Huge thank you to whomever upgraded me for this month - what a thoughful thing to do! You are very much appreciated, and I would like to thank you personally if you would be so kind as to reveal your identity! I'm still fighting the inability to stand and walk, and the lack of energy of being ill, so I don't always come to this thread. Know that I am thinking about all of you, all the work that is put into this thread by all of you, and the wisdom so readily available here, as well as the honesty of the questions. I'll try to remember to put my posts and answers in blue so those who don't wish to read what I say can avoid me, and those who do wish to can find me easily. LOL Some of the people I follow now believe that S will HtF in multiple ways at one time, rather than only one event at a time. Maybe it's best to have it all come at once, especially if in summer so we can become accustomed to the new ways of doing things before cold, wet weather hits most of us. If it's true that whatever "they" do a "test" on happens in reality in two months or less, we can expect internet outage and even grid down this summer. Imagine us without internet! Horror of horrors! Of course, that might mean some of us may get more real work done~ LOLZ praying for ya |

Try and find 'non-irradiated' seeds then do a germination test. For those who don't know. Get a sheet of paper towel, dampen it on a plate, sprinkle a bunch of the seeds on the damp paper then place it atop your fridge near the back (even temps) and keep damp. If they don't sprout within a few days they are defunct. Then again, we did this with 'goji' seeds and they only grew until the first set of leaves then all died. Ie. irradiated. I found Canuck suppliers of them after that since the USPS has a penchant for radiation it seems. I dig a trench, throw leaves in it & then turn the soil on top of the leaves. I'll do that trench by trench until the whole garden is done. It's alot of work but it pays off nicely with well fed plants that produce heavily. But in the mean time...it might not be a bad idea to stock up on some miracle grow. - MC |
