I've seen many of our supplies from China on backorder. US manufacturers are supplying beautifully so far...but I bet that will get tight at some point too.

As an electrical contractor I can vouch for there being a shortage in both Lowes and Home Depots. Try to find a 50-30 quad breaker, or a decent spa panel, or even general fittings. Its hit or miss and that goes for specialty supply stores as well.

My wife works for a beverage company and although her company is not dealing with the shortages because they have local suppliers, the big guys like the red can sodas are dealing with a major shortage in aluminum cans. Mexico suppliers are just as backlogged as the chinese supply lines.

everyone here are fixing gardens home repairs. building decks...I have so many friends who just added huge decks. They are all out of work.

You can't get a contractor to show up now. They are back logged for weeks.

You think this might have a little to do with these shortages.

Things like medical supplies are back to normal, hand sanitizer is fully stocked here.

Masks are gone.....but that is going to be true until the mask mandate ends.

I have not run into any food issues, Prices are going up though. I live in the NY area.

Bullshit....product shortages at Wallyworld under Obama were nuisance level at worst, and no lockdowns, mask mandates, forced quarantines, mass shortages & all the other BS like now, none of that happened. I noticed in Aldi's the aisles seemed wider. I thought they took out an aisle or two. This makes sense now.

Wait until there are no aisles. Just some stuff on the perimeter. Then look for a wall to go up dividing the store in half. The other half will be rented out.

I went to a Best Buy today to buy a camera and microphone. They’re all sold out. How is that even possible? I mean literally every camera and every microphone in the store is sold out. They wouldn’t sell me the display models either. This was in Morgantown, WV.

What I want to know is why are all the cleaning supplies cleaned out? They are almost gone at both Wal-Mart and Target down here in AZ.

I ended up buying a natural cleaning product (which actually works great), but it is weird that all the "regular" cleaning supplies were sold out.

Is it because the raw materials are made in China?

Or is it because everyone is stuck at home, and they are cleaning more, due to the pandemic?
