An illusion of the fantasy my mind forces me to endure It is joyous and painful, as a trusted friend for sure. How shall I reconcile the twisted path of a truth so pure? Confounded in contemplations will my recompense reveal a cure? Dust settles in the house of my soul where the white glove goes. Perfection is nowhere to be found, save the reality of the rose. The winds of fate still blow to test the limits that my lucid life knows And in some ways it seems as though I am sinking into the silence as it flows.
