Doesn't work you need about 100 candles to raise a room 2C. The ceramic pot can not increase the heat more than the candle its not a free energy device.

If you got no power you need either a generator, propane or wood burner. If none of these then plenty of clothes and blankets.

That happened to me once, except I was behind the wheel of an old 68' Chevy pickup truck with the floorboards rusted out and no heater driving from Houston to Caldwell in weather just like this.

There is heat in numbers too. If you and your neighbors are in a life-threatening situation, you should all get in the smallest inner room you can find, huddle together and cover yourselves with all the blankets, towels, clothing, rugs, carpet, etc. . . that you can find. Your collective heat will keep you alive. Do not go meekly into this doom. Fight it.

mylar is good, sometimes theres an emergency blanket in first aid kits, or those emergency roadside car kits sometimes inlclude one.

Plastic tarp, the heavy kind, is remarkable for keeping heat in a tent. Found that out in N Ontario.

Yeah, The scariest part was when I had to come to a stop because I couldn't feel my legs and to boot it was a four speed manual. I must of been a sight getting out of that thing at the gas stops.

People have been warned for over a decade to prepare for disasters. Everyone should have a good stock of food and fresh drinking water as a minimum.

Backup source of power... inverters, batteries, solar, wind turbine, generators, propane, wood stoves, portable gas stoves. Propane space heaters, Extra fuel for your car or truck. Emergency Go-Bag for when the SHTF and you gotta leave town due to fire, earthquakes, floods, riots.

At least some of this should have been obtained over recent years.

Put a bunch more clothes on. You don’t have any more blankets? Come on now.
