Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76573745 In this thread I'm posting about Elijah's dual with the prophets of baal(idol). Guess who wins? Thread: All prophecies the bible says will happen in End Times are happening or almost completed at present (Page 80) When the time of the evening sacrifice came around - Elijah prayed to God for fire, so that the people hearts may turn back to him. God answered Elijah's prayer and the fire burned everything on the altar. The people saw this and gave glory to God. --- If you are so special you should be able to answer - What am I thinking right now? Let us all give glory to your father.... How did the Devil tempt Jesus again. Very much the creation acting like the creator.......here, kids. Luke 9:54 When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do You want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them?" Luke 9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. Now that isn't funny. Also I'm using you as a footstool for instruction to OTHERS, just saying.... The prophets of baal didn't get an answer from him Guess you didn't either.... Okay - pray to your father - and ask him Pray tell me - what is this person thinking right now? If you are all you say you are - your pray should be answered. Why would I pray for what YOU desire **lol* It's not that I WANT you to believe me after all. In fact the opposite is true, like I want a defiled spirit like you messing Heaven up, AGAIN. Keep waiting. Alright - I'll admit I gave you a hard one to pray for. This should be easy for you. Take your spirit and fly over here - and tell me what am I wearing right now? Don't even have to pray to your father. Just get in the spirit and take a peek.... |

However, a time did come that the butler would remember him - God made sure of that. He gave the Pharaoh several dreams that troubled his soul - and sought help from the magicians, wisemen or someone to interpret them, but couldn't find anyone: Genesis 41:8 And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled [because of his dreams]; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but there was none that could interpret them unto Pharaoh. Suddenly the butler remembered Joseph and how he interpreted their dreams precisely: Genesis 41:9 Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day: 12 And there was there with us [in prison] a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret. 13 And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and [baker] he hanged. Pharaoh sent for Joseph staightaway - so they cleaned him up and brought him before the Pharaoh: 14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh. When Joseph was in the presence of Pharaoh he comforted him with the words that God will set his mind at ease, by giving Joseph the interpretation. So Pharaoh told Joseph the dreams that had troubled him greatly. ---- Genesis 41:15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it. 16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace. 17 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river: 18 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow: 19 And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness: 20 And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine... Pharaoh told Joseph another dream, to which Joseph replied that God was telling him what he was about to do: Genesis 41:22 And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good: 23 And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them: 24 And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me. 25 And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what he is about to do. |
