After a lot of soul searching, and watching again, a very to the point movie "ARRIVAL". Everyone here should watch it if you can. It's a sci-fi flick about first contact with an alien race, and the key to every thing is communication. Learning how to understand each other. It brings home what we, so many different people, striving to communicate through this thread are doing. Yes, it's hard work sometimes, but we stick with it. I'm back on the horse, that is this thread. I thank you all for helping me again during a difficult time. Part of what I had to face in the last 3 days is, my Daughter considers me the enemy. We will never see eye to eye again. All I can do is accept what is, and pray for her. You all are my Family. You are stuck with me tantrums and all the rest. They had the tv on, have had tv's since 9/11 in the office, and the alert came on and the screen went to red and black and instead of hearing an announcement she said they heard what sounded like a constant barrage of gunfire. I told her what I heard which was a man speaking about that this was a test, which, we haven't had done in recent years, they just make the noise and skip the guy saying that this is a test and every single time the old timers say "they are supposed to make an announcement that you if this is a real emergency broadcast you should stay tuned for information or instructions. They said that this time for the first time in probably years, although they haven't had these tests at all some years. No, she said they were all shaken, they heard what sounded like a barrage of gunfire and she was insistent on that and she said it rolled across the screen that this is a test but they all wondered if there was gunfire from where the test emanated. Do you think Blumenthal/Murphy his boy toy give a shit what I have to say? I hope and pray we are going to see solid results. I want to see these people who have done horrifc things not be able to walk the street. I want to see that tweet, My Fellow Americans... Kids go back to school soon. It's just how it is. It dawned on me that this is in the back of everyone's mind and when all these incidents in all these places occurred it literally brought people back to all the school shootings last year. So people are seeing these shootings at ordinary places and festivals where folks are having fun and putting it together with the schools reopening soon and they're getting desperate in their minds to stop this now, before school starts. Am I making any sense? |

You know the other night tom fitton was on with I think hannity. His body language said "madder than a wet hen" and it was the day we all found out that the doj didn't want to prosecute comey for his leaks. Fitton was furious, you could see it and he fought hannity with all his might arguing that comey should be prosecuted on this. Hannity of course ended up literally cutting him off in the midst of an excellent point.
