Coronavirus: British evacuee falls ill during flight from China

Mayo Clinic doctor: Coronavirus is ‘basically at a pandemic now’ and should be treated as such

Thanks! The big eared guy confirmed that the US has had very limited second generation cases as opposed to China - which that is a very good thing. If we do not quickly get small outbreaks under control, though....

Stores are open, She knows it a novel virus no exact medicine to cover it but doctors are working on it. asked her if i could tell her what Americans are saying and sent the link to gisanddata . She said yes yes wuhan people flee and take it with them. She said i should wear mask and sent me a picture of a regular mask to show me what kind of mask i should buy. There is more but Im not sharing here. She also said no one has died or gotten the sickness in her province.

I do. While there is no good evidence to support asymptomatic transmission, we know that infectious viruses can be found without symptoms, for other viruses. It probably isn’t a major transmission route, though.

Snohomish County man with novel coronavirus discharged from hospital

The first person in the United States to be diagnosed with the novel coronavirus has been discharged from an Everett hospital. The Snohomish County man had been treated in isolation at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett since Jan. 19.

2 Coronavirus Patients Hospitalized in San Francisco After Conditions Worsen: Officials


Two California coronavirus patients whose cases were confirmed by U.S. health officials over the weekend were transported to a hospital in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Department of Public Health said the two patients, who are from Northern California’s San Benito County, were taken to the hospital on Monday. The San Benito County Health Department has said the pair remained at home and posed a low risk to the community.

UMass Boston student with Wuhan coronavirus visited campus health center, officials say

BOSTON —

The University of Massachusetts, Boston student who tested positive for the Wuhan coronavirus visited the campus health center after returning home from China, according to school officials.

The student, a man in his 20s, went to University Health Services last Wednesday and was wearing a surgical mask at the time.

Public health and school officials said the student is being isolated at his home, which is off campus, during his recovery and is checking in regularly by phone with public health nurses. His condition has dramatically improved, according to University Health Services.

He will remain isolated until health officials determine that he is no longer contagious.

The student's few close contacts have been identified and are being monitored for any sign of Wuhan coronavirus symptoms.
