On January 26, Science Magazine's latest "Wuhan Seafood Market May Not Be the Birthplace of New Coronavirus" reported that some scholars believe that according to a paper published in the latest authoritative medical journal "The Lancet" , Questioned the origin of the new coronavirus-Wuhan South China Seafood Market, and proposed new possibilities. Earlier, the situation of the first 41 patients admitted to Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, the earliest to receive targeted treatment in the epidemic, was published in The Lancet. In the paper, they tracked the history of the first 41 confirmed cases, of which a total of 13 cases had no contact history with the South China Seafood Market, and 27 people visited the Seafood Market. Of the first four infected persons, three had no history of exposure to the South China Seafood Market. Huang Chaolin, the first author of the above paper and deputy director of Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, said in an interview with Caixin.com: "From the perspective of the current disease situation, the seafood market is not the only source of exposure. (The origin of the new coronavirus) is Multi-source. " However, Huang Chaolin agreed that the virus is more likely to come from wild animals. Statistically, we should see about 2k-3k new cases reported by China this afternoon, and another 50-75 deaths. At present, patients with mild illness will gradually recover in about a week. Patients with severe illness may take 2 weeks or more. Our discharge standards are set in this way. The clinical symptoms of the patients are basically relieved, the temperature is normal, and then two negative nucleic acid tests are performed before they are discharged. We must ensure that these patients are not infectious when discharged. This has caused the phenomenon that can be seen at present, and as time goes by, the discharge data of patients may gradually increase. The man had not visited China but a Chinese work colleague who was in Germany last week had started to feel sick on the flight home on 23 January, said Andreas Zapf, the head of the Bavarian state office for health and food safety. He had attended a training session given by his Chinese colleague on 21 January at the office of a car parts supplier Webasto in Stockdorf in Bavaria and tested positive for the virus on Monday evening.
