Israel Electric Corporation to cut power to Bethlehem

Similar moves were taken in Jericho on Thursday over debts the IEC put at NIS 1.7 billion ($451 million).

The bulk of the debt, NIS 1.4 billion ($371 million) is owed by the Jerusalem District Electricity Company, said the IEC, with the remaining NIS 300,000 ($79,350) owed by the Palestinian Authority.

Thursday’s cuts led to blackouts, but full supply was restored later the same day, according to Mansour Nassar of the JDECO.

Putinophobia hits boiling point: Kremlin says ‘insinuations’ in Panama leak don’t need response

“Such 'leaks', in our view, are meant to target audiences overseas. It is also clear that the degree of Putinophobia has reached a point where to speak well about Russia, or about some of its actions and successes is impossible. One needs to speak [about Russia] in negative terms, the more the better, and when there's nothing to say, you need to make things up. This is obvious to us,"

Ties between Germany and Russia are entering a chilly new phase

At an hour-long meeting in Moscow on March 23, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov irritated his German counterpart by raising the case of a German-Russian girl who said she was raped by migrants in Berlin earlier this year.

After the girl's claims were reported by Russian media in January, Lavrov accused Germany of "sweeping problems under the rug."

Azerbaijan warns Armenia on targeting of civilians

Azerbaijan on Monday warned Armenia against targeting civilians in one of the deadliest outbreaks of violence between the former Soviet republics since a 1994 peace treaty.

“If Armenian forces continue targeting settlements and civilians, Armenia will bear the responsibility for the actions of Azerbaijani army, which will ensure the safety of civilians,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmet Hajiyev said in a statement.

I've stated this before on Janey's, Luisports, and Zombie Daddy's threads. I'm not sure if I did it here, Jazzy, but perhaps you're in the know of these regions and their very volatile history.

1.) Kashmir.

2.) The Sino-Indian Border region. - This is one is seldom heard of, but no less a major threat. We're talking Tibet and major land grabbing by the PLA. The First S/I War happening simultaneous with the Cuban Missile Crisis. That event overshadowed the S/I War. India lost. Then recently a couple years back, the PLA made a bold move inside Indian territory and took more land. Nothing came out if it for reason unknown. It is my belief, that we shall see the PLA get seriously bold and go all out to curb any potential expansion from India by seizing more land that will unleash the Second S/I War. This would run in tandem with the China backed, Pakistanis making a run for Kashmir.

Every power imaginable on Earth is witnessing what is happening and are either maintaining the peace in their regions or are prepping for clandestine/covert paramilitary actions that will inevitably lead to direct military confrontations amongst other global powers.

That's how I see things playing out.

US Website: Steam Seen at North Korea Nuke Reprocessing Lab

Satellite imagery indicates activity at a North Korean laboratory that could separate plutonium for nuclear weapons, a U.S. website that monitors sensitive sites in the isolated country said Monday.

The website, 38 North, said that during the past five weeks, exhaust plumes have been seen two or three times at the radiochemical laboratory complex at Nyongbyon, which is North Korea's known nuclear facility.

That suggests buildings there are being heated, but it's unclear for what activity.

The lab is where North Korea separates weapons-grade plutonium from waste from a nuclear reactor. The North announced in 2013 its intention to refurbish and restart nuclear facilities, including the reactor, which was shut down in 2007 under aid-for-disarmament negotiations it later withdrew from. The reactor has been the source of plutonium for the North's small arsenal of weapons.
