I've had a lot of overtime the last few days because I've been at 11 airports in a row with little downtime. It's been the same issue at every airport. Not only at these 11, but I have heard there have been the same reports all over that these systems are experiencing the same issue. Something unknown all of a sudden is causing these systems to register false returns.. all from 50,000 to 80,000 ft. Now this isn't an issue for the air traffic controllers because they are basically there to land planes and much lower altitudes near the airports. They can just apply a filter and carry on. All of the systems at each airport check out ok. They are not malfunctioning. They are picking up something, but no one knows exactly what it is. And this is worldwide from what I've heard. I have no idea myself. But my personal opinion is that all of a sudden in the last 72 hours, either we have thousands of cloaked objects of some sort hanging out very low in our atmosphere, or there has been some sort of major change causing a lot of EM energy in the same band as the radars to be pointed back at the radar dishes causing this phenomena.
