However, this is a rather unexplicative concept of volcanism, and differs from what (human) geologists understand for such a process...

Because volcanism is undestood as an extrusion of material (often but not always molten) coming out from the inner/more energetic regions of a large object (+500 km) and just that... while the original solidification of the surface is not to be considered "volcanism" within this conception, and more over... transformed (originally volcanic or not volcanic) rocks through erosion and deposition (sedimentary), and through high compression and transformation, with later exposition to the surface (methamorphic) are not understood as volcanism.

Calling everything volcanic will lead to a high level of swampyness, as it explains actual processes, quite old ones.

++ So, it just depend on the concepts you are making your understandings and the degree of detail you are seeking.

When i refered to the closeness/proach thing... while asking people to don´t give up in trying to make a better civilization, a sustainable one... and really protect and enhance what is left of biodiversity and ecosystem services... i though on most readers and participants in this thread live in the USA, the country which in many ways lead the world... and use more than 1/4 of its productivity and resources, pollute the most, overconsume the most and may bring the most of the potential intelligent/rational solutions to the current problems... of course, not in relation with ellusive possible overwhelming threats relating with natural cycles... so they may help less or more, but surely more than they think, even changing their daily lives in a small extent... everyone could help, but some could do quite more..... i just tried to rise awareness and call for people caring beyond the inmediate.

I don´t consider your/others potential (non human)... works (?), which are not publicly known for us... thus... quite ellusive... but, of course, thanks a lot if the case...

I will insist that whatever may threaten us in the future concerning the cycles... is an almost unbearable issue (group of issues)... wouldn´t the magnitude of the changes required to minimize the risks highly exceed the potential advantages? We had never planned even toward the finite volcanoes i referred before... i.e. Mt. Soma destroyed Pompeii and Herculanum, and nevertheless Herculanum was repopulated and Naples has grown over several volcanoes... and tourist converges within Vesubius... this is but an example, there are plenty of them all around... related to known volcanoes. How much would there be relating to unkown ones? And we just know about the continental surface!

In this moment i´m looking several of them through my own window, i´m actually but at a few miles of a crater, and there are whole towns over the very volcanoes all around this city... and what you expect me to do about? When i referred to the closeness/proach thing... while asking people to don´t give up in trying to make a better civilization, a sustainable one... and really protect and enhance what is left of biodiversity and ecosystem services... i though on most readers and participants in this thread live in the USA, the country which in many ways
lead the world... and use more than 1/4 of its productivity and resources, pollute the most, overconsume the most and may bring the most of the potential intelligent/rational solutions to the current problems... of course, not in relation with elusive possible overwhelming threats relating with natural cycles... so they may help less or more, but surely more than
they think, even changing their daily lives in a small extent... everyone could help, but some could do quite more.....

Hello My unknown friend, this thread holds lots of ideas/thoughts that may change your reality forever, this is and may be to much for one to handle, i've questioned st in bg many times and st seems very legit, its a whole-nother world. Many things stated here are not for the weak minded individual who takes life and the way of things for granted and who believes everything or most of what the governments and the religious and education system employs , this is a whole-nother ball game my friend so be wise and research you will find the life that you know of could be very different than how things actually work/ actually are, take care, Josh.

ST, in wisconsin anyways the last 7 or so winters during november and december have been mild and warm , now it seems like were getting the cold earlier this year and last year also seemed to be colder again like 10 years ago, it is currently 14 degrees ferenhight out, so i'm wondering how come were getting our cold back cause it seems to me like these may just be weather patterns over the course of every 10 years or so the weather is back in its old pattern again, can you explain to me what is happening?

Back to rain and snow in november again, and for the last several years previous it would be very warm and not get cold or good snow fall untill end of december or beginning of january , are we back in our old pattern or what is actually causing this and why is this happening like this?

Also ST, its going to be snowy next couple of days and in the 40's 30's and 20's for the highs the next 10 days with low's getting into the low 20's , mid 20's and some 30's and in the teens in ferenghight temperature, weather back to like it was 10 or so years ago, please explain, thanks, Josh.

ST, like mom just said its suppose to be cold in winter , weather i said back to like 10 years ago, but said its suppose to be cold in november, as mom and dad are early risers, hehehe....
