I don't tell why, it's kinda clear. 3) Russian media are on while the rest of the world sleep, so it seems a little strange. 4) Crimea vice-PM statements on twitter are a clear threat to Ukraine. So.. |

And he even made it clear to Putin any military move by the US in Ukraine is out of the question. Meanwhile Putin has his army fueled up and ready to go. Which is exactly the opposite of what was said about Syria.. The big issue, for me, with this whole situation is Bammy keeps saying no millitary option bla bla.. It is ALWAYS the OPPOSITE. The US doesn't have the balls to go to war with Russia. And Obama said he won't get US involved military in Ukraine. And there are no NATO armies massing up on Ukraine borders. Only Putin has the army ready to invade and the excuses to do it. it is always the opposite.. I do in fact know what my president said.. Shocking I know.. because I live here.. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55983976 Negotiate? They owe them like $10-15 billion, what negotiation? Crimea is now part of Russia, ergo, any previous "internal" arrangements are void, and some sort of international agreement is needed. If Crimea is now Russian, then the UKR has NO obligation to do anything with Crimea. They owe money to Russia and have much weaker army, so you're wrong. They will pay for this in one way or another. Oh, I suspect they will pay, but, they are within their rights to shut it down. It's all about unintended consequences. One of the unintended consequences of the annexation of Crimea might just be Russia is now responsible for it. And one of the unintended consequences of shutting off the power may be action by Russia. But, UKR seems to be within their legal rights. And for Russia to act on that militarily will be harder for the rest of the world to swallow. What can they do anyway? Wait for Ukraine to enter the EU and then wait for another 50 years for the money? That's a perfect excuse for Russia to actually do something right now. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 56002521 The pigeon knocks over all the pieces, shits on the board and then struts around like it won the game." OK lets get back to reality- Thast what the world thinks of Putin actually. You're confusing western leaders with regular people. FACT: Russia stands alone in its unjustified aggression towards Ukraine. Fact: The UN universally condemns Russia's actions, as does the G8 and the OCSE outside of Russia's vote. Fact: Putin is a rogue leader using a massive web of propaganda on his own people to stir them to war over false pretenses, creating a dangerously rogue nation. Fact: Russia will fail in this irrational madness they are creating. There is no winning option for Russia. UN = G7 = OSCE = EU = NATO = IMF = World Bank = BIS, etc., etc. I'm not personally a member of any of those organizations. Are you? The rogue leader is Obama. He's the one starting wars all over the world. Russia has already won. They got Crimea. Bellicosity on Ukraine's part only guarantees they will take more. NATO is scared shitless of Russia; they know who has the advantage. NATO will sit and complain while Russia takes whatever it thinks it needs to ensure its security. |

"The guys really have lost relevance, went to similar methods against the crimeans. But except for power outages, no other way to affect us. Crimeans will become stronger, "said Temirgaliev. He called such a move "stupidity". "This is due to the stupidity of the people can not explain anything else. We have no debt. Reasons for outages No. Just "trained", so to speak, "he added. |

Quoting: H-kon It isn't very hard is it, it's one of the reasons why it's a shithole, spending money on things it really can't afford, just like the leadership of NK sucks everything dry, but the man himself enjoys all the stuff he wants. Norway does send things into space now and then, but very seldom, and yes, if our leadership wanted to bleed us dry to send stuff into space, i am pretty sure we could afford it, just like Russia. You never thought there is a big difference between spending money and creating things. They do what they do because they can and are willing to do. In the huge country with population of over 300 millions there are always those who are not happy, and/or not capable to participate, like in any other society. Please go look how many Americans are hungry, how many Europeans are jobless, homeless,...etc. Oh, you're all well in your huge commodity, in your kingdom, full of bloody gold from conquered lands. The total population in Norway was last recorded at 5.1 million people in 2013. No wonder, you need others to work for you, so you can live your 'luxury' lives. Please go kill some whale for fun, don't travel to Russia and be happy. Ok, so what did you buy recently in the last 10 years that said "Made in Russia"? I really can't think of ANYTHING that Russia produces except for oil/gas, military hardware and a few components for space exploration. By the way, there are only 142 million people in Russia. Russia has been out-competed on absolutely everything. They have a massive army that is old and way too expensive to maintain. They have serious infrastructure issues, and even their main highway in the east consist of gravel. Most of Russia today is built by the former Soviet Union, and most of what was built is rotting today, ghost towns, thousands of factories closed, and cities where you would not even like to spend a day. With the average salary of around $750,- net income per month, how do you really think the average Russian lives? In Croatia, it's just shy of $1000,- which should mean that you're quite better off in Croatia than in Russia. Google some prices of things in Russia, and you'll get the idea. I really didn't understand what point you tried to make about Norway, but yes, our salaries are insane, even for crap jobs, this is because we treat people like people, not like slaves so that anyone despite what they do can make a decent living, and even CEO's live in ordinary houses here. We have very strict worker laws meaning that workers don't take shit from anyone, and if you happen to be unlucky and can't take part of the work force, the safety net will provide you with a good roof over your head and food on the table. Full of blood from conquered lands? ehh, what? We said no to the EU two times, and we like it that way, and by the way, whale meat is delicious, if you swing by, i'll cook it for you. I am sure you'll want a second serving. (hint, it's almost like beef) Shame that Norway is not the head of the EU then Oh oops, you're not even the member. You want to stay away and 'clean' of all shit. Good for you, all 5.1 million. Just from time to time some of your 'whale hunters' goes bananas and instead for whales he go out of his luxury life, buy a gun, few bombs and kill 69 innocent teenagers. Life in tidy, wealthy and well educated society sometimes is really cold. Possibly colder than in Siberia! We're a strange country in many ways, complete bliss in some circumstances, and hopeless in others, just like everyone else, and we have our own problems to deal with here also, just like everyone else, but life is indeed good here, and the gov really bends backwards to make sure we're living a good life also. Not all seem to appreciate it though, and i agree, some southern culture would do very good, and i hear Croatia is bliss too :) |
