Fog and ice cause 63-car pileup on Virginia highway injuring 30+ people and hampering Christmas traffic (PHOTOS) Hazardous driving conditions led to a chain reaction of crashes on Virginia’s Interstate 64 as over 60 vehicles piled up. Several injuries, ranging from minor to life-threatening, have been reported.
Police say the crash took place around 7:50 on Sunday morning on Queens Creek Bridge, near the historic town of Williamsburg. Fog and ice made driving conditions treacherous, and led to the accident. Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Earthquake Thread ~ Always Updated*5.3 Mid-Indian Ridge*5.2 Mid-Indian Ridge ~ Pg 20449 I think I might've seen the same exhibit here several years ago. It was at our science center. I loved everything about it. At the start everyone gets a boarding pass of a real passenger who they give you a small bit of info on. At the end you find out if you (AKA the person on the boarding pass) lived or died. I thought that was a great idea for the exhibit, it was really impactful, especially finding out their fate at the end after you saw all the stuff and felt like you had lived the experience. My person lived, however, she was a woman in first class so her chances were better to survive. Quoting: KickinIt Wonder what it is about that tragedy that we find so spellbinding? I’ve seen the movie 15 times easily. Quoting: Isis One I've probably seen it 15x too! And I could watch it 15x more! Remember the old 70s movie the Poseidon Adventure with Shelley Winters? It wasn't about the Titanic per se, but the story was pretty much exactly the same. I will watch anything, read anything regarding the Titanic. You're right, it is a topic that seems to interest a lot of people. Perhaps in part because it was such a mystery for so long as to where the boat even was. At the risk of sounding like a nutso, I actually have wondered if I was somehow connected to it in a past life. My fascination with it began at a very young age for no apparent reason, and has remained constant. I also refuse to go on a cruise, lol. I will go on a recreational boat, but if I'm planning a vacation w/a friend and they mention the word cruise I put the kabosh on that immediately. I've also always had an abnormal fear of drowning even though I can swim. I won't go into the ocean at all, and I used to live literally right on it at one point in my life. Quoting: KickinIt That so funny you’ve seen it so many times also! I do remember The Poseidon Adventure, great movie. You might be on to something re: the past life piece. I got on a cruise ship once while on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale. One day trip over to Freeport and back. We HATED it so much the minute we docked we went right to the airport and flew back. I’m a recreational boater for sure but did not get the whole cruise ship thing. Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... HEY THERE GREAT SANTA! HOW ARE YOU?! THANKS AGAIN FOR HELPING PEOPLE.
BUT, THIS GREAT FRIDAY THAT WE MADE IT TO JUST SO HAPPENS TO BE THE WINTER SOLSTICE.....EXACT @ 819 PM PST ME TINKS... NOT SURE IF THE 21ST WILL BE CALLED THE SOLSTICE OR NOT..UH.
Quoting: UH 77894065 I was wondering when someone was gonna bring up solstice! HAPPY SOLSTICE, FRIENDS! I love a good solstice party. Not having one this year, too much to do, but I might pull off a few rituals if I have time. May as well do what I can to bring forth the good energy and push the bad energy out, even if I do it half-assed. And CAPS, it is officially tomorrow. From google: Winter solstice 2019 in Northern Hemisphere will be at 10:19 PM on Saturday, December 21 All times are in Central Time. Quoting: KickinIt Happy days getting longer to all of us in the northern hemisphere! Quoting: Isis One I happened to notice the clock right at the moment of the solstice, so I acknowledged and welcomed it. I asked it to bring forth good energy while flushing any bad energy that needs to go. That was the extent of my ritual, haha, but it always feels good to at least acknowledge it for some reason. Quoting: KickinIt That’s very nice. I sat outside today and honored the four seasons. Great planet we travel on! Spread the word, change the collective conscious...... Good time but had to do 3 doses of magnesium. I do teaspoon of calm powder in hot water. Three does in 24 hours. I usually only need 1-2 week. One dose before I went to prevent cramping. I knew I’d be dancing and sitting long time cutting off circulation. One dose this morning, another this evening as the muscle inside thigh around hip and up into lower back seized up. They’re excruciatingly painful.
Quoting: Isis One Maybe some epsom salts are in order if your soreness continues. Back pain is the worst. Glad you had a fun time otherwise, though.
