Quoting: Gomez That would make sense but a 4.3? Seems a little high for mining. Quoting: whiteangel Depends how close the seismograph is to the explosion (if it was an explosion). If it's relativity close, the 'shaking' will initially appear to be of large magnitude, however after interpretation, which includes viewing of a few more seismographs in the area, the magnitude will be downgraded or removed completely. This is due to the seismographs farther away barely showing a blip or nothing at all. Same reason you'll see some seismographs in YNP, for example, show readings off the charts, but none of the nearby seismographs show the same large magnitude readings. Something nearby the seismograph triggered a reading but it wasn't large enough to transmit to the other seismographs in the area. Say for example a herd of bison walk past, a tree gets knocked over in the wind, or an avalanche occurs close to an individual seismograph, that will trigger the seismograph and the magnitude may appear very large, as the machines are extremely sensitive, but the other nearby seismographs will show nothing. Working on improving my footwork and game. And I will be going bowling with my coach again tomorrow morning.
I am adapting to my new ball quickly - and my scores are finally returning. I bowled 155, 111, 140 yesterday. Not very impressive from a general bowling scores standpoint but my scores have been significantly lower than that for the past 2 weeks. So I am happy I am adapting to the new style...*and* new ball.
I am looking forward to breaking the 200 barrier. ;)
