What a shitty day...

54 with cold rain. Yuck.

We went to the grocery store and immediately stepped in a puddle that was deceptively deep...soaked my foot, lol.

It just may turn into a drinking and smoking kind of day.

Bleh.

That description made me laugh, lol. I've also stepped into those style puddles. Sorry to hear it though. That's no fun. If I could share the sunshine and warm temps we have here this weekend, I would absolutely share it with you and your lovely wife (and mom).

I completely forgot to update ya'll on Mini's neck ultrasound. It's a swollen lymph node and the ultrasound showed additional swollen lymph nodes in the front of her neck that aren't large enough for her to notice like the one on the back of her neck.

The ultrasound results combined with blood work says she has/had mono...again. Super weird. She's had mono before. The nurse basically said there are 2 viruses that can cause mono, and this time it's the other virus.

Again, weird. She hasn't been overly tired and has had zero cold type symptoms. As I mentioned previously, she has dropped some weight, but she's not sneezing and coughing or anything noticeably 'sick'.

But at least we know it's nothing serious. Which is really all that matters. :)

It's slightly challenging to 'manage' aka 'parent' a 20 year old young lady. She thinks she's invincible, which I know she recently got a reality check on. But even still, I'm not really liking her current behavior. She's hardly ever home, the new job is going sketchy at best, I just don't know. History is repeating here it seems. And I quite literally don't have the time to 'babysit' a 20 year old. I need her to pull her shit together.

Okay, stepping off the soap box.

hug2 At least relieved that those lumps seem nothing too serious. I can imagine it is weird though Sim.

And I truly hope she gets her act together. I surely can imagine how worrysome and tiring it must be for you to see that, next to your ultra busy job. That recent situation should have been a serious wake up call.

Sending you all my most positive thoughts that she realizes that herself as well and not only for her own sake, but also for the ones that love and care for her.

Update on my health, down 40 pounds now - all to fresh lemon juice water. Sad part it doesn't even show....sniff. But I am gonna just keep at it.

Had a blood test done (BNP) to see how bad the heart failure was and guess what?!!!! It was low normal. I think the whole issue stems from just how critical I was in December and it was taking my body a long time to heal up. Won't see the cardiologist until the end of June but praying that everything is actually okay per him. Still have to see what is going on with the pulmonary hypertension. Hopefully that too will resolve itself.
My son's blood work again show's perfectly normal after it was up again a few months ago. This time it was much lower normal, so that was another worry lifted. God is good!

My breathing is so much better since I started Trelegy. Where I was doing 4-6 nebulizer of DuoNebs plus 2 maintenance nebs for a total of 6-8 a day, I am down to one inhaled puff of Trelegy and 1 maybe 2 DuoNebs a day. The shortness of breath I have now isn't asthma - either the PH or just flat out of shape after 3-4 years of doing nothing.

Will update y'all when I have more, sure looks better than it did a month ago. It was sounding more and more like I wouldn't be here in 5 years or less.

Great job on the changes you are making Angel and really good news on the blood work from your son as well. Keep doing what you do. It will show, but most important is that it translates in physical and mental results already. And good luck to Mandi to land that job. Glad to hear she is doing okay!

Much respect and love to all of you there Cousin!
