Hey all, just checking in. Beautiful day here, hope you're having the same. Still in the midst of this damn move. The final move will be this friday. A friend helped me for most of the day yesterday taking a couple carloads of boxes over. Got some bad news last night (not worth getting into), then had trouble sleeping. Mostly due to the move - mind racing about all the things I have to do - but the bad news didn't help either. Probably slept 5 hours at best. Finally got up at 6:30 because I was so anxious. Yes, anxious like many of you. But for me it's because I'm in crunch time now and freaking out about all the things I still need to do before the movers come on Friday a.m. - and I am working this week through thursday. Had some coffee and started busting ass at 8am. Did not stop for more than a couple 5 minute breaks until 10 minutes ago. Put in an 8 hour day! Again! I cannot begin to put into words how utterly exhausted I am. Prepping for this move has been going on for months, including a huge purge of stuff before all the packing started. And other than my friends who have helped me start moving some things these past few weekends, I've done it all by myself. I honestly don't know if I've ever been this spent. Will be so glad to get it over with next week. Of course, then there's unpacking, but as long as I can get the essentials settled, I can take my time with that if need be. Sorry for the rant! Especially with the more serious things many of you have going on. I'm emotional because I'm so damn tired. Quoting: KickinIt Easiest way to pack for a move is just throw almost everything into trash bags. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58592148 That's exactly how my last move ended up at the end of my packing. A big ol' fuck it! LOL! Quoting: Simple27 I start that way I've moved a lot in my life. |

[ link to lancasteronline.com] Question. This happened today. No biggie, This is near me and originally a 2.7 downgraded to a 2.3 except the location is unusual for an earthquake and the reports I am getting from relatives etc. I believe they may get a small rumble every 5 to 10 years that most don't even notice. This one is different. The posts etc. I am reading on Facebook posts about it have many saying it came with a sound of a big bang. See below: "I thought a car hit the house" "I thought a gas main blew up. It was loud!" "It was centered right around Millersville. It was frickin loud!" What would cause a small earthquake to sound more like a big bang than a rumble and be so loud? Kindness is in our power, even when fondness is not. --Samuel Johnson |
