OLD-CYCLE SUNSPOT: Just south of the sun's equator, a sunspot is growing: AR2760. Its magnetic polarity identifies it as a member of old Solar Cycle 24. This is probably one of the last old-cycle sunspots we will see as the sun continues tipping toward Solar Cycle 25.

I was looking on spaceweather earlier and noticed the majority of the upcoming NEO's are recently discovered based on their 'names'. Notice the 2020 in them? That's the year they were discovered.

Amazing how I can remember the words to sing along to most 60's, 70's & 80's music...but can't remember people's names worth a darn! Or some of the things that happened last week...or yesterday...cry

Music is a big part of who I am...luckily my kisd & grandkids recognize good music & like to listen to my classics. I DON'T listen to their rap crap, though!! LOL
 Quoting: justanothergranny

I love rap too. Also my heyday, I am glad I was at a ripe age when it was born so I could witness that, and also be in my prime for the really good stuff in the 80's and early 90's.

I love nearly all music really except for country. I like a few old school country artists, but overall it's one genre I just don't jive with. Sorry, I know you're from Texas, lol

You are such a dear person, I forgive you about the country music. Lol! I love it almost as much as rock, but still comes in second. That said, hubby & I spent a LOT of time on the dance floor two-stepping. Some good times hanging out at the local honkey-tonk!!!

Hey guys, hope everyone had a great weekend! It was hot and windy here today, so not much outdoor time. Will be back to gardening and other yard work tomorrow.

Am about to round up Baby S and head to bed. We lay down together and sing her favorite songs - Twinkle Twinkle and Itsy Bitsy Spider. And the one that goes "I love you a bushel and a peck". We have hand motions to that one.

Hope everyone has a great start to the week. And that the weird energy that's been giving several of us fits goes away! Or at least relents a bit. It's supposed to get near or just over 100 degrees F here a couple of days. Time for the AC to go on!

Love, prayers and hugs from W Texas to all of you!

We branded 354 calves today! It went well! Doctored a dozen or so! Great day, and we got sunburned! Great cool wind though, really good conditions! We finished just before 5 pm, and the cows got a gate open and raced out onto the county road, and we had to stop and turn them around! Otherwise, it was smooth! chuckle

Much love granny!
