Ingredients
2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce triple sec
1 ounce simple syrup
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
Garnish: sugar rim

Lemon drop

Enjoy
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75785486

Way back in my heavy drinking days, we made a variant called the "Rose Drop". Subbed the lemon juice for Roses Lime Juice. We did them in double shot glasses. Man, we used to drink a LOT of those.

That bar is a truck wash now and my wife from the time is dead.. Rest In Peace.

Funny how stuff was so care free then...before kids and oppressive bills.

I don't drink much any more, but I may have to make a trip to the liquor store for supplies...

Lol, Rose Drop. It makes sense and I'm sure is equally good w/lime juice. I was never big into doing shots, even in my heyday of boozing it up. I've certainly done my fair share due to other people buying me shots over the years, but I didn't really like doing them so I didn't have a go-to. If I had an option, I'd always pick something fruity that involved mixers and wasn't straight up booze. Like a lemon drop or sex on the beach or something of that nature. Of course, sometimes I had no choice and the buyer handed me a jagermeister or goldschlager or tequila. I'm known to sip that kind of shot for annoyingly long periods of time just to get it down, haha. I remember when goldschlager came out we all thought those gold flecks were so cool. Nevermind it tasted disgusting, it was about the flecks.
 Quoting: KickinIt

I'm weird... I actually liked Goldschlager. I keep a bottle of high-proof cinnamon schnapps in the freezer for the occasional nip.

At bars, I did rose drops and beer back then. Lotsa Michelob and Killian's Red. At house parties I usually drank bourbon. Mostly Jim Beam and Pepsi. I have, to this day, a visceral reaction to the smell of Pepsi. lol

Convergence ... two days apart along Louisiana coast.

Tracks crossing is rare in the Atlantic so soon but happens more frequently with Typhoons in the much busier Western Pacific.

Stay in your lane.

When I turned 21, four of us gals went to the bar; it was a drinking frenzie,,,I drank many, too many, Singapore slings. Heading home we were pulled over by the police, probably because I was hanging out the window barfing.
He was told it was my birthday, so he told the driver to drive slowly and escorted us home.
Next day, I drank some milk and it curdled in my stomach and so threw that up too.
I never was a drinker, either got sick, tired, or headache / hangover. Not worth it...
