My husband goes to bed before I do. As soon as she sees him get up and go to bed, she starts in. Our livingroom, dining and kitchen are basically one big room, with archways in between. She starts in the dining...goes racing as fast as she can into the kitchen, turns around and then bolts back through both into the livingroom, up over the couch, down the cedar chest under the window, around the entire edge of the room and back into the kitchen again. She repeats this about 2 dozen times, sounding like a damn horse running through the house. Then, she jumps up on the back of his desk chair and sits there twitching her tail and waiting for me to get up for bed, so that she can attack my legs from behind.

Quoting: ~Jazzy~ Isn't it amazing how such a tiny creature can sound like a horse or elephant. I swear the two kittens sound like a herd of horse running through the house and then down the stairs to the basement, hits the futon and a tower of boxes we save for wrapping gifts in. Of course it falls, which they know will happen and then they tear back up stairs looking guilty, spooked and crazy all at the same time! 11:00 to 11;30 every night this happens without fail. At 10;45 they are sound asleep and then bam. The witching hour |
