Overcast for my area tonight, of course. Hopefully it clears up tomorrow for the Lyrid light show
Quoting: Master of Nothing Best time to view is after midnight tonight, and before sunrise. But the window of time to see it is longer so you'll still have a few nights to watch for some. : ) ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

I was laying on the hood of my car smoking a joint with my earbuds in, listening to music, watching the show after I drove an hour west towards the Appalachian... layed there for around 2 hours in the early morning and must have seen close to 60! Easily the most I've ever seen. Absolutely incredible |

If you're not familiar with Cahokia Mounds: [ link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] It was super cool. We climbed to the top of a mound, threw a blanket down, and laid there for about 3 hours watching the stars. The shooting stars felt constant. I have no idea how many we saw, but it was a lot. |
