Magnificent! Still snowing here. Quoting: Isis One Wow, you're getting A LOT! It went from snow to sleet and now it's raining. Big wet sloppy mess out there now. A heavy one to shovel. By the look of your pic, you have the heavy wet stuff too. We didn't get any 'fluffy' snow here. The wind is still off the hook. Gust after gust. Strong ones. And they're saying on the news that they'll get worse later. I don't like that. Too much wet snow weight on trees and power lines now. 70 mph gusts make me nervous. Quoting: Simple27 Prime conditions to lose power. Hope you are somewhat prepared. Also hope it doesn't happen! Being snowed in is no fun at all if you lose power. Quoting: KickinIt Yes it is...and yes I am. Although of course hoping I won't lose power. Like you said, being snowed in without it sucks. Lol. Shoveling does too and I'm gonna have to get out there soon. I'll be jacked after shoveling this heavy stuff! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

I had just had surgery, hubby was down with the flu and pulled back and we are fined 24 hours after the storm is over for not clearing walk ways. It wasn't that cold so I turned on the hose and washed it away. It worked and I was done in 20 minutes compared to the hour it usually takes DH to get it all done. LOL Neighbors liked the idea, many were out doing the same thing to clear 18" of wet heavy snow. Can't do this if the temps are well below freezing though |

Quoting: WhiteAngel That would be such a great loophole right now!!! But we're at a 'feels like' 25 degrees. And the temps are going to drop. I would create a skating rink haha! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

No significant change from this morning or last night, though all signs are still present - suggesting we are at the end of the pregnancy. Slight discharge, swelling, pulsing, etc. Keepers reported that baby is very active this evening. April remains in STELLAr (did you get that snowstorm joke) condition.
We remain under the attack of Snowstorm Stella. All animals are safe and comfortable, keepers remain on site this evening to continue to ensure proper conditions.
Procedures are in place to get the necessary individuals to the site should April begin to birth. [ link to www.facebook.com (secure)] Well that's great. This is probably going to take place overnight while we're all sleeping. |
