Omg lmfao! I'm watching a live stream of the rally in Boston and they have the live comments available on the side. In the video you see a bunch of black folks yelling 'who's street, our street'.

Someone wrote in the comment box 'who's baby, not mine!'

Are You Ready? The Sun is Welcoming the Eclipse with a Burst of Renewed Activity

AS THE ECLIPSE NEARS, SOLAR ACTIVITY INCREASES: Only a few weeks ago, it seemed that the sun would be quiet and featureless when the Moon eclipsed it on Aug. 21st. Solar Minimum was in full swing. This weekend, however, the sun is welcoming the eclipse with a burst of renewed activity.

There is a huge prominence on the sun's eastern limb.
If you are in the total eclipse path set your clock to greet this awesome spectacle on Monday.

Don't believe it. Just the hotel room rentals from all of the eclipse tards has got to make up half of that. And the fuel taxes collected for them all to get there...omg

And the meals, binocs, souvenirs, coffees, and beer...they're raking it in for this one...lmbo!

Solar Eclipse 2017: US National Parks Expecting Gridlock on "Busiest Day in History"

The state of Wyoming is accustomed to visitors: it is home to the vast majority of Yellowstone National Park, the first in the world; Grand Tetons National Park; and ski resorts such as Jackson Hole.

But as Monday’s total solar eclipse approaches, the National Park Service says: “August 21 is anticipated to be the busiest day in the history of the park”.

Ozzy will rock during the eclipse. Some say he’s ruining a near ‘religious experience’

I know a couple of guys going to this. This is just outside Carbondale, IL - the epicenter I mentioned earlier where they will have the longest period of totality.

Local news reference to traffic. They drove from Denver to Ft Collins - about an hour drive typically. Today it took them 1 hour and 45 minutes.

They are putting emergency porta-potties up and down I-25, extra at rest stops as well as anywhere there is a turn out - "for those times you just gotta go", his words, not mine, lol

The sensors on I-25 at the border between CO and WY, 30,000 vehicles above normal on a holiday weekend, just since 5pm yesterday. LOL

Wow, good update WA! I actually did some searching for info on traffic issues around here (when I say that, I mean within a 150 mile radius of here, not STL proper). I couldn't find anything about traffic issues yet. I think the worst around here will be early on Monday, and late afternoon/evening after the eclipse ends. I think all the locals on the fringe of the totality path heading south/southwest of STL on Monday to get a better vantage point will create some havoc.
