I'd say aftershocks, seems like the big lift let off pressure.

I'm not going to lie. When I need a fast chili fix. I go to Wendy's get a large cup and add 5 of their hot sauce packets.

I make it at home too in the Winter now and then. Just brown ground beef, a big diced up onion and a few garlic cloves, until it smells good. Toss in a spoon full each of Cumin, Hungarian Paprika, Thyme, garlic powder, pepper and some Cayenne spices. Mix it all good for about 2 minutes, then just dump a big can of tomato sauce in, a tiny can of tomato paste and a can of diced up tomatoes. Let it simmer for an hour, then a can of drained pinto and kidney beans and simmer about 15 minutes. It's for sure not "Texas quality chili", but it's pretty dammed good.

You ain't kidding. My cousin and her husband moved up the Seattle area about 5 years ago. They had lived in Texas well over 15 years. They would get confused for a while, why every time they orderd chili or someone served chili at a party, it was just hamburger bean soup. I'm not even joking.
