We have been looking but can't seem to find a few day forecast for I-25 south to Amorillo to Dallas then to Houston. He had planned to leave in the morning. Work and all that.

Can some of you news hounds see if you can find the best window for travel home? From what we can figure out, Goliath is stalling and another storm is coming.

Any and all help would be appreciated

Anything about the Panhandle? We saw something about 20 228 inches of snow for the Panhandle tomorrow through Monday. He was thinking maybe if he leaves Monday spent the night in Santa Fe and then headed east he would Miss Goliath and beat the other storm that's coming in that no one knows whether it's going to turn into a major storm or not at this point.

Hundreds of homes evacuated in England due to floods; army deployed to boost defences

LONDON (AFP) - Heavy rains triggered floods in parts of northern England on Saturday (Dec 26), forcing the evacuation of hundreds of homes and the deployment of army personnel to shore up overwhelmed defences.

Lancashire in north-west England and Yorkshire in the north-east were the worst affected, with environment officials issuing more than 300 alerts in those areas, including 31 warnings of possible deadly floods.

The Met Office national weather service issued its most serious "red warning", which calls on those in areas at risk to take action.
