Commuter tells man to f*ck himself, then turns up for job interview with himLONDON — Here's a tip: If you're heading to a job interview, try not to barge into people and tell them to go fuck themselves on the way there - because they might end up being your interviewer. That exact scenario happened to one hapless candidate in London this week. The man was travelling on the London Underground Monday when a fellow passenger blocked his way. He responded in the traditional London manner, with a push, a shove and some of the expletive-laden compliments so familiar with dwellers in the capital. Perhaps he was stressed; he had an interview lined up for the role of Python Developer at Forward Partners for later that day. What he didn't realise was that his victim was Matt Buckland, Head of Talent and Recruiting at Forward Partners, who had one task for the afternoon: fill the role of Python Developer. It is likely part of the fact that I have only had around 3 hours sleep since bowling six games yesterday evening.
So, I am going to head to sleep.

Glad you are feeling better. :) Quoting: Aspamce The 3 near Japan went into event mode last night after the 6.3 earthquake. I'm not sure what set off the Bay of Bengal buoy. But I think they stay in event mode for 24 hours once they go into event mode. Not positive on that so if anyone knows for sure please confirm. : ) ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
