Nooooo.

Still no aftershocks to the SoCal 5.3.

I also don’t like that Balleny Islands Region 5.3 one damned bit.

Can we say incoming?

"We would expect aftershocks, and there is the potential for some triggered seismicity," Andrews said.

Earthquakes are not at all predictable. We can say what's happened in the past, we cannot say what's going to happen," Hough said, adding: "There's always a 1 in 20 chance that an event like this will trigger something bigger."

In California, about half of the biggest earthquakes were preceded by foreshocks; the other half were not. At this time, we cannot tell whether or not an earthquake is a foreshock until something larger happens after it...

Last significant quake from said region was 1981. I'm struggling to find the recorded aftershocks of that one.... all bets are off imo

I wondered if it might be something other than a quake. Although 2.6 isn't that big and PA has EQs of that size. But as we know they are rare and what led me to believe it was something other than a quake is that there wasn't prior obvious activity that would've led to a quake that far east. Thanks for sleuthing.

My Dad had his hip replacement surgery yesterday and is doing unbelievably well. Already walking once or twice around the nursing station. It has been 8 months since we started getting ready for this surgery.

Oh wow, good for your dad! He is so amazing! I feel like I have "dad adventures" vicariously through you, John. I love your dad stories and I feel like I know and love him. Seriously, that man is in his 90's and is already on his feet after a second hip replacement?! It's really incredible.

I've been thinking it's almost baby time!! Possibly as early as later this month, if I remember correctly. AoS said due date in May, but docs think she might go early in April.

Well, glad this week is over. Almost had to fire one of the crew after he made a terrible mistake that could have costed about 100K.

Thank God for creative solutions and a willing client. It goes with the job, but I hate boss - employee talks like that. What a day and what a week.

Enjoy your Friday everyone. hf

Oh man, that does sound rough. Sounds like you worked through it well and the guy/gal got to keep the job so that's about as good of an outcome as you can have in that situation.

Now enjoy your weekend!

Lol you girls crack me uptounge

I pretty much got the Dr's and nurses all under control now.........

They wanted to do a angiogram today, I refused and had a CT instead......

No way I am letting them stick that wire up my groin all the way up to my brain when I am already in pain .........

Yesterday they switched my pain killers from morphine to Tylenol 3's , I was in a lot of pain, so at midnight they started me on morphine again and was able to get a couple hours of sleep

If my CT scan comes back good, then I may be able to go home tomorrow.....

So I am waiting.......
